A very large 2 bed apartment on the lovely family friendly St James complex. The apartment is furnished and equipped to a very high standard. Accommodation includes 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms one of which is en-suite. The living area offers access to a large balcony where you can dine alfresco and enjoy the magnificent sea views. Within the living area there is access to a lcd tv inc free sat with many english channels and complimentary wifi. Both bedrooms have access to a second sea view balcony. The kitchen offers a range of modern appliances, washing machine, dishwasher, fridge freezer and microwave. For your added comfort there is remote controlled air con throughout. The centre of Luz is a pleasant stroll away where you will find cobbled streets offering a variety of traditional restaurants and bars. Local amenities include shops, supermarkets, banks and local markets.

About Nicola rosson

We first came to Luz in 2005 with our 3 young children.We have since returned every year for the last 8 years and it has been a fantastic family orientated place in which the children and ourselves have enjoyed immensely. It was because we love Luz so much that we decided to purchase a holiday home here so that we can enjoy the area more often and have a home from home.

Why Nicola rosson chose Lagos region

We purchased a property here because of the location of Luz and all the local cafes and restaurants offer something for everyone. The apartment is superbly located within easy access of the local supermarkets, shops, restaurants, bars and the beach.

What makes this apartment unique

The property has an amazing sea view and is accessible by a lift for your convenience. As a mother of three children I understand how important it is that you get to relax and holiday. Hence the apartment has been furnished and equipped to enable you and your family to function and relax together.

Exceptional apartment in a lovely location

This apartment is a lovely surprise, it is much larger than average and in a perfect location with gorgeous views. We stayed as a family of 4 in this 2 bedroom apartment for 2 weeks in August and it gave us plenty of room. The directions supplied by the owner were really good and the apartment block looks really well maintained and welcoming. We had a minor issue with the shutters which was quickly and efficiently dealt with by the owners and the maintenance company. The apartment is really nice with superb facilities making it a real home from home. The views from both balconies are lovely and the sea is a short stroll away. I would recommend the apartment to anyone looking for a comfortable base from which to explore the area. Buses into Lagos can be caught from the bottom of the road and were always on time. The village of Luz is quite small and very pretty, nightlife is limited but that was perfect for us and the apartment is located away from the pubs and bars so is very peaceful in the evenings and through the night. Would stay here again if returning to Luz.

fantastic apartment

We stayed here for two weeks at the beginning of November and really enjoyed it .Top floor,great views,quality fixtures and fittings,handy for the beach and town. Everything you could ask for. Will definitely be back.

Home from home ...

We spent 2 weeks in this fantastic appartment..There were 4 adults and 3 children...We have been going to Portugal since 2003..But have always gone back to Luz..The apartment has everything you need ..it is very spacious..2 bedrooms one en suite both with balconies and panoramic sea views..large living room and kitchen.The complex is very family oriented two pools one adult one child's.Lots of sun loungers ,the pool area is enclosed making it a very safe environment for parents with children ..Situated just outside the pool area is a fantastic cafe called the Coffee Cup ran by Bianca and her team ..Please call she is fantastic the snacks that come out of her tiny kitchen are amazing and reasonably priced..There are lots of restaurants within easy walking distance..We would recommend Barocca they do a fantastic barbecue evening as much as you can eat for 15 euros less for children..Try the Fort on Sunday they do a jazz afternoon with set meal lovely and romantic..Look Restaurant for steaks...Pashmena for currys..Despite bad reviews we went to the Galley along the promenade..We were surprised it was a lovely meal served by friendly staff..If you have a footy mad husband or son or daughter try Kelly's bar ..A bus ride away is Lagos try Mama Mias and Ries lovely food served by very friendly staff..Footy again ,try only fools and horses next to Ries restaurant..All in all we had a great time and certainly booking this apartment next year.Great holiday ....

A great place to stay

We have just returned from Portugal having had a fantastic holiday, made all the more enjoyable by staying in this apartment. It is very spacious, well maintained with everything there you could possibly need. The pool and grounds are immaculate with plenty of sun beds to use free of charge.

The location of the apartment is ideal, it's a short walk to the town and beach. There are plenty of restaurants and cafes, we ate out every night and didn't have a bad meal anywhere. I would recommend 'Chaplins'.

We used 'Yellow Fish' for our airport transfers. If you are not going to hire a car I would recommend you use them. Door to door service in air conditioned vehicles! Very reasonably priced too.

We would use this apartment again without hesitation if we decide to return to Luz.

Ideal Family Holiday

We were very pleased with the standard of our holiday apartment - in fact it was way beyond what we expected for the price we paid. It was just like home from home with everything we needed. It was also a good family-friendly resort and the apartment, pool and area were ideal both for us as Grandparents, my son and his wife and their two children aged 2 and 6 months. The weather was hot and sunny and all in all a very pleasant and enjoyable holiday for all of us.

Restaurants, Bars, shops, beach and even a lovely church all within easy walking distance. We look forward to further holidays in Praia da Luz.

Notes on accommodation: The apartment can be used all year round offering air con in the summer months and oil filled radiators in the winter months. The apartment is strictly no-smoking please. Outside: A large patio table with 6 chairs and parasol and 2 reclining chairs for use on the balcony. The adults and children's pools have ample sunbeds and parasols. Access to these is strictly via a security pass and is for the sole use of St James residents. Toilets are situated poolside as well. Utility Room: Iron and ironing board, Hoover and mop. Clothes airer. Cot and child booster for dining table. Bucket and spade, bat and ball, armbands, football etc. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: There is a cleaning service supplying fresh linen and towels.
