This conversion from an outhouse is very cosy and is arranged as follows - on the ground floor a fully equipped kitchen, separate living and dining areas and bathroom. The first floor bedroom is deceptively spacious and contains a large four-poster, 2 seater sofa bed as well as adequate room for the cot. This cottage also offers fridge/freezer, microwave, TV, cd player, radio/tape/cd player, and washing machine.

About the property

E8406

Allender Farm is situated at the end of a long attractive drive of half a mile and offers outstanding views of the Lee Valley and surrounding countryside. Set in delightful grounds of just over 3 acres, the property offers the seclusion of the country, for those wanting to get away from it all - yet is only 3 miles from the 'Blue Flag' beach at Woolacombe with its outstanding sandy expanse. The beach extends to some 3 miles and connects to Putsborough. We are also within easy reach of the beaches at Mortehoe, Croyde.

Lovely cottage with friendly owners in beautiful countryside

  • 5 of 5

The cottage was in a great location for being able to drive to the beaches. It had everything we needed & the owners were very helpful with suggesting where to go for a walk. There seemed to be lots to do & see on the farm although we weren't there long enough to look around properly.

Very warm welcome from owners Jim and Jane who provided us with fresh eggs, home produced sausages and lovely fresh bread. Lovely setting and surrounded by farmyard animals.

Fantastic short break

  • 5 of 5

What a wonderful cottage and fantastic owners who make you feel like one of the family from the minute you arrive. My partner and I took our 5 month old labrador retriever Mollie with us and even she was spoilt. Many thanks to Jim and Jane for all your information and help and most of all for letting us bring Mollie with us to your wonderful cottage.

A lovely place to stay

  • 5 of 5

We wanted a place to stay to enable us to go on nice walks with the dog - this was perfect - the cottage was clean and very warm which after a day walking was ideal. Both Jim & Jane were on hand should we need them - they had very good knowledge of the area and pointed us in the right direction for walking - will definitely be going back. The dog loved it too although couldn't quite make out the chickens (hadn't seen any before)
