On arrival the apartment exceeded expectations.

The apartment is clean and very well presented, it is one of the nicest rental apartments I have stayed in. The pictures on the website are a true representation regarding both the cleanliness, furniture and furnishings. The kitchen looks new and is very well stocked with everything you need and more (real coffee machine)...

All correspondence with the owner Michael was answered promptly and politely. For peace of my mind thought I would also say, my deposit was returned the following day with no fuss at all. There is a telephone number in the apartment should you need to contact either Michael or Michelle. In addition, there is a folder with all the information you need regarding the location of supermarkets, restaurants, cafe's, and places of interest, all of which are in the Royal Arsenal, Woolwich high streeet is also worth a visit for shopping. The food was excellent in all of the restaurants and cafes housed in the Royal Arsenal so take your pick you won't be disappointed. The DLR is a 5 min walk if your not taking the Thames Clipper into the city however, the clipper is definitely the nicest way to travel. I would certainly stay in this apartment again and also recommend it to friends and family.

Great Stay Dec 2016

Apartment was wonderful. Modern, clean accommodations with every convenience we wanted or needed. A beautiful neighborhood. Easy to get from apartment to what became our regular daily sightseeing beginning point (being the Tower Of London =Tower Gate light rail stop). Lots of hot water and great water pressure. A treat for us from USA. Two bedrooms and two bathrooms and washer/dryer were so welcomed by our family of four.

EXCEPTIONAL! Excellent family rental! Beautiful flat, ideally situated with fabulous owners!

My family of six stayed at this flat for a week and thoroughly enjoyed our time here. From start to finish Michael went above and beyond to answer every question we had and provided invaluable tips/recommendations that were instrumental to this most memorable stay.

My sons had long dreamed of attending a Manchester United game, not only did Michael help us with facilitating a drop off location for the tickets to the game (before we arrived) but he also provided invaluable guidance on how to best get to the game. We might have missed the game had it not been for Michael.

The flat itself is very well equipped, meticulously maintained and offered everything that our family needed. We celebrated Christmas here, prepared a handful of meals and had everything we needed at our disposal. Having two full beautiful bathrooms with was a real treat! My 21-year-old son (who I'm afraid ended up with caviar taste) repeatedly commented that the large shower and water pressure were "AMAZING"...and the heated towel racks were the icing on the cake!

As far as the location, it was an ideal place to retire at the end of a hectic day in London, a delightful home away from home. Safety was never a concern, not only is the building very secured but the Royal Arsenal community was charming. Both the DLR/Underground (only about a 10-minute walk) and the Clipper (super close, maybe a 5-minute walk) made traveling back and forth to London (only about 30 minutes on the underground) very convenient. Regrettably we only took the Clipper once and in hindsight wish we would have taken it more because it was such a beautiful trip. Grocery stores and restaurants are all very conveniently located. Loved the Dial Arch Pub and Restaurant, great atmosphere! Tesco grocery store just around the corner and if you want a full-sized/ monster sized grocery store, it’s just a 5-minute walk past the DLR.

During our vacation we stayed at several other locations in/near London and without reservation not only was this our favorite but the value for the money is second to none. Security deposit was refunded almost immediately. Should the opportunity present itself, we would absolutely stay here again.

Michael and Melanie, a MILLION thanks for going above and beyond to make our stay so memorable! Thank you too, for finding our missing gem and for making sure it finds its way back to us! It was an absolute pleasure working with you! Wishing you all things good in the coming year!

A tidy, stylish, well equipped apartment.

A fabulous home from home when visiting London. A great base after a long day tramping through the London streets. The photographs do not do the apartment justice; it's well equipped and beautifully style to a very high standard. Will definitely return. Love the location the Woolich Arsenal, Thames and the town itself which has a wide selection of shops. A big thank you to Michael and Melanie who were available when we had a slight problem with the water which was solved quickly. The whole site was clean, friendly and felt very safe and secure. Brilliant parking onsite.

Great place for a week’s break

A very tidy, spacious, well equipped apartment is a refurbished historic building. The apartment was

very clean and well appointed. The kitchen was fitted with everything you need from making a snack

to cooking a 3 course dinner. Michael and Melanie do all they can to make you feel at home from a

starter pack of tea, coffee and milk to some delicious shortbread biscuits. Beds were very

comfortable and towels lovely and soft. Even with all the windows open it was very quiet as there is

very little traffic on the whole Arsenal site. The apartment cannot be faulted.

The immediate area is pleasant and offers some nice walks. The river and Thames clipper ferry

service is less than 100m away. The DLR and Over-ground stations are about 400m away. The main

shops are also about 400m away including a big Tesco store, a smaller Tesco Metro is only 100m

away. We would recommend the Tap Room for fans of craft beer, the Dial Arch for some decent pub

grub and the Great Harry (Wetherspoons) for those who require some relief from London prices.

The Thames Clipper takes about an hour from Woolwich Arsenal to Westminster and was our

favourite way to get into central London. The DLR and Over-ground were quicker (35/40mins) and a

little cheaper but not nearly so pleasant.

Overall we would give the apartment and the Woolwich Arsenal area 10/10 and 5 stars.

Excellent Well Equiped Property In Lovely Location

We stayed for four nights in this lovely apartment and the owners have really thought of everything. We had two young children and four adults in our party and the rooms had been well organised to accommodate us all. The children especially loved their room and bedding and the little treats left for our arrival. The location is perfect for sightseeing London with an assortment of quick public transport options to choose from. Perfect stay. Thankyou
