A tidy, stylish, well equipped apartment.
A fabulous home from home when visiting London. A great base after a long day tramping through the London streets. The photographs do not do the apartment justice; it's well equipped and beautifully style to a very high standard. Will definitely return. Love the location the Woolich Arsenal, Thames and the town itself which has a wide selection of shops. A big thank you to Michael and Melanie who were available when we had a slight problem with the water which was solved quickly. The whole site was clean, friendly and felt very safe and secure. Brilliant parking onsite.
Great place for a week’s break
A very tidy, spacious, well equipped apartment is a refurbished historic building. The apartment was
very clean and well appointed. The kitchen was fitted with everything you need from making a snack
to cooking a 3 course dinner. Michael and Melanie do all they can to make you feel at home from a
starter pack of tea, coffee and milk to some delicious shortbread biscuits. Beds were very
comfortable and towels lovely and soft. Even with all the windows open it was very quiet as there is
very little traffic on the whole Arsenal site. The apartment cannot be faulted.
The immediate area is pleasant and offers some nice walks. The river and Thames clipper ferry
service is less than 100m away. The DLR and Over-ground stations are about 400m away. The main
shops are also about 400m away including a big Tesco store, a smaller Tesco Metro is only 100m
away. We would recommend the Tap Room for fans of craft beer, the Dial Arch for some decent pub
grub and the Great Harry (Wetherspoons) for those who require some relief from London prices.
The Thames Clipper takes about an hour from Woolwich Arsenal to Westminster and was our
favourite way to get into central London. The DLR and Over-ground were quicker (35/40mins) and a
little cheaper but not nearly so pleasant.
Overall we would give the apartment and the Woolwich Arsenal area 10/10 and 5 stars.

Excellent Well Equiped Property In Lovely Location
We stayed for four nights in this lovely apartment and the owners have really thought of everything. We had two young children and four adults in our party and the rooms had been well organised to accommodate us all. The children especially loved their room and bedding and the little treats left for our arrival. The location is perfect for sightseeing London with an assortment of quick public transport options to choose from. Perfect stay. Thankyou
What a wonderful apartment with owners who've thought of everything you could need. After checking out hotels and finding how much it costs to park this was a bonus to have parking included. What more could you want with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. We ate out every day and only coked breakfast at the apartment and that worked fine. Now to contact Michael and Melanie for our next stay now we've discovered this gem.
Who wouldn't want to stay here.
The flat is in a great very quiet location and well equipped for all your needs, clean and comfortable.We had a lovely week staying here. Easy to get to London on all modes of transport. The Thames clipper is an added bonus only 10 minutes walk away. We would definitely stay here again.
An excellent choice for a holiday rental
This is a one-in-a-million apartment in an absolutely amazing new riverside development, with very convenient access to London by boat and tube (DLR). Who cares if it rains (it did!) as there is a café and pub nearby and the well stocked Tesco is open till 11pm for ad hoc food shopping trips!
The apartment is very clean and comfortable and extremely well - equipped; fantastically comfortable for five (two couples and a ten year old: what a joy to have two bathrooms!) As well as the usual appliances, including a Gaggia coffee machine, dishwasher and washing machine and that all-essential WiFi, Michael and Melanie had added some typically thoughtful touches - shortbread and choccies and a good selection of children's DVDs.
I'm only awarding five stars as the website won't let me post six!
