‘Little Twelvewoods Cottage’, an attractive & spacious semi-detached 17th century stone cottage just outside Dobwalls village, about 2 miles from Liskeard and 9 miles from Looe, South Cornwall. Plymouth approx 15 miles. A country setting, one of 2 cottages at the end of a short shared driveway. The cottage was renovated during 2009, providing very comfortable and appealing accommodation. There is a three quarters of a mile long footpath to The Highwayman pub (good food) and Spar shop in Dobwalls village. The cottage has an enclosed rear and side garden with table and chairs.

Bedroom 1 has 1 double bed. Bedroom 2 has 2 single beds. Deluxe single bed which can go in one of the bedrooms or in lounge. Lounge with feature fireplace & T.V. Dining room. Kitchen with an electric cooker, microwave, fridge, chest freezer and washing machine. Bathroom with bath, overhead shower, washbasin & toilet.

Linen inclusive. Heating by a feature woodburner in lounge (logs available from owner at reasonable cost). Also economy 7 night storage heaters in all rooms (available if required, by £1 coin meter). £1 electric meter (first £8 free).

Own adjacent parking for 2 cars. No pets. There is a £40 returnable deposit payable with the final payment.

Little twelvewoods cottage a Little Gem

Had a fabulous time staying here and would definitely stay again and recommend it to others. The cottage itself was really clean and comfortable and had all we needed, it was perfect for our family. We loved all the space we had outside to play frisbee and other games in the evenings. The location was great too, easy to get to all the places we wanted to in Cornwall. Sennen Cove and St Michaels Mount were approx an hour away, The Eden Project 20/25mins and lots of lovely little walks and activities to do locally too. I would recommend Adrenaline Quarry for a day out 10 min up the road.....A huge zip wire and giant swing, go karting and a beautiful picnic area and lake you can swim in and the pub in St Neots serves really good food. We found a lot of our information from the leaflets and booklets left for us in the cottage by Wilf and Margaret and they are what really set this accommodation apart. They are the owners who live next door and they were so lovely and helpful nothing was too much trouble. They advised us on little beaches around the area that wouldn't be too crowded and places to eat etc they sorted wi fi for the kids and the bottle of wine was a nice touch and much needed after a long drive down! We felt really at home here for the week it is a little gem. I was nearly put off from this cottage before we went as in the description it says about the coin meter for your electricity however Wilf and Margaret had filled it before we arrived and we didn't need to put anymore in all week. This really does deserve our 5 star rating and we hope to go again 😊

Brilliant

Absolutely loved this cottage can't recommend highly enough, good size two bedroom, cottage, close enough to main road to make travelling out easy but far enough off the road to be quiet and peaceful. The cottage has a good size double bedroom and a twin room with additional fold up bed there is also plenty of wardrobe and drawer space, and a good size bathroom with over bath shower, downstairs has a good size kitchen with all appliances and utensils plus a dining room and lounge both of which are good sizes, the accommodation is very clean and well appointed and the owners are lovely people and very helpful. I would definitely stay again. I have used lots of holiday villas and cottages here in the uk and abroad and would put this on my top 10 list for - cleanliness, location, decor and ease of booking. Gets a thumbs up from me.

Perfect getaway

Absolutely gorgeous cottage, clean and comfortable accommodation with everything you need. A home from home, the property is a good size. The situation of the cottage is close to many attractions in the area and the owners are extremely friendly and helpful. I would most definitely recommend this cottage to anyone wanting to visit/holiday in Cornwall. Full marks! Will be revisiting again.
