Car: not necessary

Coast/Beach:

Burriana Beach is approx 8 minutes walk with at least 5 restaurants right on the beachfront and other shops/restaurants one street back. There are lots of loungers with umbrellas to rent if you so wish but there are plenty of "free" beach areas. Water sports and canoe hire is also available. There are also children's play areas. For teenagers there are beach volleyball courts. A few minutes walk in the opposite direction to Burriana beach will take you to several smaller coves/beaches.

Travel:

Car is NOT essential but the house has a garage if you wish to hire a car. Malaga Airport is approx 45/50 mins drive. It is handiest to pre-book a taxi to collect you or you can just pick one up at the airport. You could also take a bus or train into Malaga and then take the bus out to Nerja - approx one hour or more depending on connection times and time of day.

Distances:

Frigliana is approx 6kms away and Nerja caves are approx 5kms - both are assessable by public bus about 5 mins walk from the house.

Further Details:

Apart from all the small shops within 5 minutes walk of the house there is a large supermarket - Mercadona 10 mins walk away. There are lots of restaurants both around the beach area and on the way to and around the Balcon De Europa. Sports of all sorts are also catered for and a visit to the Tourist Office is recommended. There are several banks in Nerja with ATM's.

Booking Notes:
On making a reservation we require 25% deposit of the total cost - this can be paid by bank transfer. The balance of your stay is payable 6 weeks prior to arrival. Keys will be posted out to your home address 2 weeks prior to departure.

Changeover Day:
There is no restriction on arrival days except in the high season. Generally speaking the house is available from 4pm on arrival day and be vacated between 10am and 11am on departure day unless otherwise arranged.

  • Notes on accommodation: The townhouse is one of 28 townhouses and apartments in a gated urbanization with garages under the terraces at street level. They are mainly 2 storey. The houses, garden and pool are all very well maintained with many owners living here. No smoking inside house. Free WIFI. Cot, stairgate, bedrail and highchair available for small children - free of charge. Outside: The house is geared towards eating outside on the terrace and has a table with 6 chairs. There is a wind-out awning for shade and a sun umbrella & stand. There are also 3 sunloungers. The private terrace overlooks a quiet one-way street but at first floor level as the urbanisation is built on a slope. The garage is under the terrace. There is good privacy as there is a planter the full width of the terrace with jasmine etc. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Towels, bedlinen and kitchen linen are provided on arrival. One set per person per week. Extra cleaning can be arranged at an extra charge.
