‘Trebethis', a detached luxury barn conversion in a beautiful countryside setting 6 miles from Boscastle, North Cornwall. Widemouth Bay and Crackington Haven excellent sandy beaches are both 5 miles, with Bude beach resort 9 miles. Famous coastal Tintagel with 'King Arthur's Castle' perched on the cliff is 8 miles. This is one of the most spectacular and rugged stretches of coastline in Cornwall, miles of Nat Trust coastal walks, a favourite with walkers. ‘Trebethis' is one of a small number of cottages on a quieter country lane. Great attention was taken in the conversion to retain the character of the original stone building, retaining original features such as exposed beams. Rear patio with garden furniture. Good size enclosed lawn. The cottage is on a sheep and beef farm, with a pretty, circular footpath leading from the cottage to a tiny stream and stream fed lake (free coarse fishing/picnics) and back to the cottage, great for exercising a dog.

Bedroom 1 has 1 King size double bed & en-suite shower room (power shower, toilet & washbasin). Bedroom 2 has 1 double bed & 1 single bed. Bedroom 3 (downstairs) has 1 double bed. 1 single fold up bed (fits in all bedrooms). Kitchen with electric oven & hob unit, microwave, fridge/freezer & dishwasher. Outside coin operated laundry room with washing machine & dryer. Lounge with T.V., DVD and log burner. Dining room. Bathroom with bath & overhead shower. Downstairs toilet and washbasin.

Linen inclusive. Cot. Electric inclusive. Central heating is inclusive (under floor central heating downstairs, central heating radiators upstairs). Also a log burner in lounge.

Non-Smoking. There is a dedicated adjacent off the road parking space for 2 cars; also other parking area. 1 small dog welcome.

Free coarse fishing is available on the farm's small natural stream fed lake, reached by a pretty and short footpath walk leading from the cottage. There are various species of coarse fish, with the lake being periodically restocked. Upon buying the farm the owners were surprised to find that the lake had been populated with coarse fish and a few small trout quite naturally- the coarse fish probably from the feet of migratory birds such as storks which visit the lake occasionally. Keen naturalists may be lucky enough to be able to spot various wildlife; including kingfishers and other birds attracted to the lake. The lake is also an excellent venue for picnics. During the summer, the lane down to the lake and its surroundings are a delightful profusion of wild flowers.

Outside: Holidaymakers can walk in the farm's woods and fields. Also, there is a footpath leading from the cottage down to a tiny stream with a ford. Continue over to the small stream fed lake which is great for picnics and where you can enjoy free coarse fishing. The owner's have signposted a continuation of the walk, making a circular route, where you can continue back to the cottage. Just a short stroll from the cottage to the farm's children's play area which has swings, a climbing frame etc. Utility Room: Outside coin operated laundry room with washing machine & dryer. Bed linen supplied inclusive.
