Guestbook comments from the owner
"We both thoroughly enjoyed our fortnight in the beautiful Potting Shed. Fantastic, magical surroundings. Ideally situated in the lovely Weald of Kent. Friendly, welcoming hosts who made us feel right at home. Sitting in the fabulous gardens, listening to the birds and the church bells are a real pleasure. Visits to Sissinghurst and Great Dixter are a must (like Donald & Charlotte's garden on steroids). Many thanks again". L and G - France
"This is the most beautiful cottage we have stayed in of all the places we have been and the gardens are so lovely and peaceful, everything is so peaceful and relaxing. We've had such a wonderful holiday. This cottage is everything you could wish for, especially Charlotte and Donald who are the most thoughtful and kind couple. Thank you for everything".

Perfect holiday retreat.
We stayed here for 3weeks, our leaving words were we will be back.Flights booked and returning in 2016. The Potting Shed is well equipped, clean and beautifully maintained. Private garden and summer house. The main gardens are a joy to any gardener. Donald and Charlotte take care of your every need, the flowers and welcome basket are a delight. Plenty of places to visit locally if you do not want to drive to far.
I stayed here with my Mum for a week in June. The Potting shed is ideal for two and it is equipped to a high standard. It oozes charm and has the feeling of 'far from the maddening crowd'. It is well placed for visiting gardens, coastline etc and plenty of restaurants locally, two in the village and others within a 5 mile radius. Having said that we cooked 2 evenings (good butchers in village) as the setting is so peaceful. We will be returning this summer 2015 and looking forward to it!!

A table and 4 chairs are available there as well as a rug kept in the utility room. You are invited to walk around the owners' garden, by arrangement.
