When we first went into the Cottage/Barn I said ' I could live here',

and staying for a week, I was right.

The place is Beautiful, and very clean, with everything you could want.

Very quiet, The only neighbours are our hosts, June and Alan, who are there if you want them, but stay in the background.

We have rebooked for later in the year, thats what we think of the place.

John.

Excellent accomodation!

A wonderful cottage with everything the traveller could want or need. Everything has been thought of in this cottage. The owners were welcoming and available when needed.

The cottage was immaculate and decorated to a very high standard.

I would highly recommend this cottage. The owners should be very pleased with themselves.

Fabulous property

  • 5 of 5

Alan and June had thought of absolutely everything we could have possibly wanted for our stay.

The groceries were a lovely and very welcome thought.

The Derry Barn is furnished to a very high standard and extremely comfortable.

Is very well placed to explore the Cotswolds and beyond.

We couldn't have asked for anything better.

We look forward to returning in the future.

A Cotswold gem!

  • 5 of 5

We were looking for somewhere different for our 3rd stay in this beautiful part of England. Derry Barn did not disappoint, perfect in every way. So quiet and tranquil, a real home from home. Set on the edge of a stunning village, with a pub just a 5 minute walk. The owners were lovely people but once introducing us to their lovely holiday home we were left to enjoy!! This we definately did, so much to visit and do in the close area or a little further afield if you want. The only problem with places like this is having to leave. If you are looking for luxury, peace and quiet with stunning countryside villages nearby then you won't be disappointed with Derry Barn. A fabulous stay, we hope to return one day.

Perfection, style, exquisite good taste so cosy

  • 5 of 5

We've been staying at Derry Barn three times already and about to return next October and, Heaven permitting, again and again ...

Certainly the most pleasant, charming, clean and perfectly equipped self-catering accommodation we have ever seen. The refurbishing of this former barn was conducted with maestria and exquisite good taste. The whole look is breathtaking. Even the WiFi is perfect : strength, reliability, no fuss. WiFi is very important when you come from abroad to keep in touch with your family( and the world through the internet).

June and Alan are so very kind and helpful when we need them while providing full privacy in the pleasantly secluded part of the garden where the cottage is set on its own grounds.

Difficult to imagine a more cheerful and efficient welcome ! Not forgetting bread, milk and butter in the fridge.

Location

From the Owner

We moved to the Cotswolds 40 years ago from London and we love it! We have a very good road network and it is easy to travel in any direction in the U.K.yet we live in a peaceful little village on the infant River Thames. We live in an old Cotswold farmhouse and a few years ago decided to convert a derelict cowshed into a self catering barn , ideal for 2 people. We are so pleased that we have had many happy visitors in our smart, cosy and completely private accommodation.
