'Sea Views' is a nicely furnished semi-detached house in a superb position with panoramic sea views in the seaside village of Downderry, South Cornwall. 5 miles from Looe. 12 miles to Plymouth. Just a 100 yards stroll down to the sandy beach and to 'On The Shore' large beach side pub & restaurant (quality food with indoor and outdoor seating overlooking the sea). A stroll over to 'Blue Plates' restaurant, 'The Swan' cafe & coffee shop (all day breakfast, good lunches), convenience stores & Post Office. Downderry is an active fishing village and fresh crabs & lobsters are available for purchase. Seaton village adjoins Downderry and has a good family beach and beach cafe. Bedroom 1 has patio doors onto the large enclosed balcony (patio table & chairs and padded sun relaxant) with fantastic sea and coastal views over the bay from the bedroom and bedroom balcony. Small front garden. Sea views from lounge and garden. Sit and enjoy the views.

Bedroom 1 has 1 double bed. Bedroom 2 has bunk beds. 1 single Z bed available for lounge/diner. Sleeps maximum of 4 people plus 1 baby, or 5 people and no baby. Large lounge/diner with T.V.& DVD.& WI-FI Internet (bring own laptop). Kitchen/diner with electric cooker, microwave, fridge, washing machine & dryer. Bathroom with bath & overhead shower.Separate toilet.

Downderry is a pleasant and traditional village, tucked away in a somewhat bypassed position, being almost a one street village, on the coastal road between the magnificent sandy beaches at Whitsand Bay (2 miles away) and Looe which is about 5 miles further down the coast. During the summer fishermen pull their small boats up onto the beach, fishing mainly for crab & oyster which are often available for sale. A tiny village but with a few cafes and restaurants and a couple of pubs. In particular the Inn On The Shore is an idyllic setting to savour a drink or food, with indoor restaurant and outdoor seating overlooking the sandy beach. Adults can watch the children on the beach whilst enjoying a drink and some peace and quiet from the seating area! The Blue Plate restaurant does good food. The Swan cafe and coffee shop does good value all day breakfast with good lunches. The village has a good size general stores with Post Office. Joined to Downderry is seaton village, next along the coastal road, having a good family beach and beach cafe and The Smugglers Inn (with restaurant area).
