About this property

The Boavista Golf and Spa resort lies in a prime location between the historic town of Lagos and the beautiful beach resort of Luz. It is a short distance from the A22 motorway and just 55 minutes' drive from Faro airport. The resort has an 18 hole championship golf course, with an excellent club house, a luxurious spa, a large outdoor swimming pool, tennis courts and children's play areas. Our three bedroom villa is located next to the 3rd fairway and close to the Communal Pool. Each of the bedrooms has an en-suite bathroom. The property is located within a short walk of the club house where food and drink is available at discounted prices. Golf and Spa access is also available at a discount.

Great Villa Great Holiday

The Villa was great for our family, we could not fault it. The owners have a great attention to detail, providing a comfortable, relaxing and well equipped space. Our communication with the owners was first class. I found them polite , helpful and very informative in any requests we made to them. I would not hesitate to book again knowing the Villa formed the basis of our great holiday in Lagos.

Fantastic Villa, great location for families

The villa was amazing. Everything you needed was there and thought of by Lorraine. Cool boxes for the beach, pool towels, fully equipped kitchen too! Table tennis table in the garage was a great hit 👍 The villa is immaculate, if a very high standard and very comfortable. Only 8 mins into Lagos by taxi/Uber approx €8 each way. Pool is across the road from the villa. I would definitely return here if we came with my parents again as the ground floor room was perfect for them. An outstanding villa and great communication with the owner throughout Thoroughly recommended 👌

Wonderful villa

Just returned from a wonderful two weeks in this fabulous villa. The amenities were first class. Welcome pack very much appreciated. We made good use of the 25m pool. We all enjoyed playing table tennis and darts too. Some lovely restaurants in Lagos and Luz. Really appreciated the use of a cool box when we visited the beach. Thank you for a wonderful holiday in your beautiful villa. Please let us return soon!

Lovely stay

Lovely house, well equipped and beds very comfortable. So nice to arrive to a few basics for a snack and some water, tea, coffee milk etc. (only lacking a few kitchen basics like oil, vinegar which would have made cooking easier) Air Con was effective for overnight but house stayed fairly cool with shutters down. Pool was just a minutes walk away and always had sun beds available. Uber into Lagos always available (5-7 euros) and plenty of lovely restaurants to choose from. Beaches nearby were all lovely but you’d need to drive. Thanks Lorraine for lending us your house!

We're a couple of novice golfers who enjoy life in the sun. Having spent a year as ex-pats in Nigeria, we knew the lifestyle we want to live. Sun, sea and golf!

Why they chose this property

We have been looking for a property overseas for a number of years. We have looked in Spain, Cyprus and Florida, but there were drawbacks to them all. We then travelled to the Algarve for the first time and immediately fell in love with the place. The undeveloped nature of the Western Algarve is what makes it special.
When we found Boavista, we knew we had found what we were looking for. The golf course is terrific, even for a mere novice. The club house is very welcoming and serves excellent food.
