Thornton Lodge, a splendid detached bungalow on the outskirts of St Merryn Village, 3 miles to Padstow, Cornwall. A luxury bungalow in a quieter cul-de-sac position, recently renovated providing very comfortable accommodation. The stunning beaches at Harlyn bay and Constantine Bay are under 3 miles with other excellent beaches being within 5 miles. Beaches run continuously all the way from Padstow to Newquay- probably the best beaches in Cornwall. Nearby Padstow fishing village, home to a number of restaurants belonging to Rick Stein, is a great favourite. There is a ferry from Padstow to rock, sea fishing trips, cycle hire (this is the start of the Camel trail cycle path). Nearby St Merryn has a few cafes and a pub (good food/carvery). A walk from Thornton Lodge to the stylish Glasshouse restaurant/café with excellent food at very reasonable prices. Also pop into the Hanging Tree next door to The Glasshouse. Thornton lodge has a private and fully enclosed garden, with a barbecue area.

Bedroom 1 has 1 double bed. Bedroom 2 has 2 single beds. Bedroom 3 has bunk beds (no wardrobe). Kitchen with electric cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer & spin dryer. No washing machine. Lounge/diner with T.V. & DVD. Bathroom with bath, walk in shower unit, toilet & washbasin. Small front sun lounge (not yet built when photo was taken) with sun loungers.

Electric Key meter (can recharge half a mile away in St Merryn village shop). Wall fitted electric convector heaters in bedrooms and lounge/diner. Lounge/diner also has an economy 7 night storage heater & a log affect electric fire. Double glazed so easy to keep warm.

Non smoking. Adjacent fenced off the road parking space (can shut car behind gates), with other paking on lane outside. No pets. There is a £60 returnable deposit payable at the same time as the final payment.
