Our apartment is a 3 bedroom property on two levels. Downstairs has a large open plan living area with well equipped modern kitchen. There are are two comfortable double bedrooms one with an en-suite shower room. There is a separate bathroom with jacuzzi bath to soothe those aches and pains from a full days skiing or cycling. Our apartment has a mezzanine level with a chill out entertainment area with DVD TV and Playstation 3 ideal for the kids to retreat to. This is an area where you can relax on beanbags and there is a comfortable double sofa bed. There is another double bedroom on the Mezzanine level with two single beds.
Our family of five have used our apartment in Samoens as our home from home.
Samoens has been our summer and winter base for four years, with many skiing adventures in the beautiful alpine scenery and energetic summer and autumn walks in the countryside.
Samoens has been a safe haven for the children, happy to cycle in the valley, swim in the village pool, play outside table tennis in the park and paraglide either down the snowy pistes or above the leafy summer woods.
We have enjoyed many trips into Italy and Switzerland and our family adore this area of Europe.
Everything about our week in Samoens was perfect, starting with the very thorough instructions on how to find the apartment! The apartment is located within easy reach of the village shops, we walked to the bakery most mornings for fresh croissants.
The apartment itself is really well provisioned- the kitchen has all cooking equipment you could ever need which is often not the case in holiday rentals! The children were very pleased with the mezzanine level and the toys and games.
The village itself makes a holiday easy, swimming, walking and rafting. We particularly enjoyed Lac Bleu.
Communication with Delyth were great- very prompt and helpful in all respects.
Thank you for a great week- we hope to return!
Just back from a great week skiing in Samoëns. The apartment is excellent for a family. There is everything you need and the little play area was just perfect.
There is also a great unrestricted view to the front and the balcony was an ideal little sun trap.
Only reason I'm giving 4* is kind of my own fault, this is based on our overall stay, the apartment is definitely a 5*. It's just the walk to the village centre is more like 20 mins with two quite young children and we love to walk but the hill on the way back was just too much for them. This meant for the nights we ate out (not many) or just a simple walk we had to drive to the centre but no real biggy.
The owners are great and very helpful and we will definitely consider this place again for next year.
Stayed in the chalet for a week - 2 families with 2 young kids. It's a very comfortable and cozy place with everything you need. Beautiful views from an open space room. Conveniently located but will need a car to get anywhere. Although, central Samoens is just 2 min down the hill driving very close to a yummy boulangerie with the best almond croissants ever and all other shops and amenities. Would definitely stay again. Owners were very helpful. All in all had fab week and a very pleasant experience. Would benefit from the 2nd toilet.
A lovely, clean, modern apartment full of home comforts and boasts amazing views. Owners so helpful and welcoming. A truly wonderful base for a happy holiday.
A lovely apartment in a great location. Perfect for family holidays and near to all amenities with very helpful hosts.
Very comfortable, warm and spacious apartment. Arrived in the dark, so had some difficulty in finding it, so nice surprise seeing beautiful view in the morning.
Easy access to the ski resort, Teenagers keen to get going in the mornings when they could see the Grand Express moving!
Would love to come back in the summer, maybe next year!
