2 large bedrooms, one twin bedded at ground level and 1 double bedded room on the first floor. 2 bathrooms, one with walk-in shower, and one with shower/bath. Large Modern kitchen with all facilities, with adjacent utility area with washing machine, drying facility and washbasin. Large lounge area with Smart 46"TV. A separate dining area leads onto a large patio and pool area. There is also another lounge area available which has Internet TV with a 7 day Catch Up facility. Internet is available on all ground floor spaces including outside. All rooms are light and spacious, and all windows have excellent views of the surrounding countryside and are fitted with mosquito screens. External features, gated entrance with large drive and parking area. The heated pool is 10 metres x 4 metres, large terrace with sun beds, and covered area for outside dining. On the first floor there is a separate large patio area.
We are a retired couple who for many years have enjoyed visiting and then living in Fuerteventura, always feeling very comfortable in the Village of Lajares. Moving to a village has made it necessary to learn Spanish, which we have found challenging at this stage in life but keeps the old grey matter turning over, and the local people appreciate a little bit of spanish so don't be worried about trying a few words if you are able, but most can speak English.We have enjoyed spending winters in Fueteventura ans summers in England with our grandchildren.
We purchased a large plot of land in the Village of Lajares and designed the Villa and had it constructed utilising the all round views This enabled us to position the rear of the Villa and pool area south facing. Having lived in a quiet village in England, we opted for a peaceful village in the Canaries within easy access of natural lagoons of Cotillo, and the sand dunes and beaches of Coralejo.
Surrounding the Villa we have established a large typical Canarian garden, including palms, cactus and olive trees. Creating a natural environment.
We are in a quiet corner of the village, with a very short walk to the village centre which includes supermarket, chemist, bakery, bars/restaurants.
We enjoy the space and a relaxing atmosphere of our Villa.
Superbly comfortable villa set in a wonderful botanic garden.
Very private and secure gated property,yet a few minutes walk from shops and restaurants.
Lovely beach at El Cotillo just a few minutes drive .
A wonderful find after visiting the island for 25 years.

Just returned from one, if not the best holidays ever on the island. Mostly due to this beautiful Villa and its private location on the edge of the village. Yet close enough to walk to the local amenities.
The Villa was very well furnished and had everything one could wish for while staying there.
Also it is in an ideal location for easy travel to either of the two big beach's of El Cotillo and Corralejo.

Just got back and we had a superb time in this villa. The pictures really dont do it justice. Well equipped kitchen, immaculately clean throughout the entire property, warm large pool (unlike most on FV), nice views and beautiful gardens. June is the windiest month but the villa is well positioned so the strong winds arent really noticeable when by the pool. The only downside was the lack of any parasol so it was either full sun or full shade away from the poolside. This wouldnt stop us returning though.
Loved Lajares too and has some pretty decent restaurants with our favorites being Canella Cafe and La Cancella. Villa is in a good location with easy access to El Cotillo and Corralejo.
I would recommend a car for your stay and autoreisen provided a great deal at £67 for the week with no rip-off spanish fuel policy and full CDW/EDW.
