The fantastically located property in central Cascais and about an 8 to 10 mins walk to the railway station. A host of wonderful restaurants national and international on your doorstep. Some of the finest seafood restaurants are located along the coastal route on your journey towards the Guincho beach. The property is also very close to a beautiful park that also has a large pond with ducks, a playground for children, a small coffee shop and great gardens. There is also free internet access within the park. Cascais also has its own Marina, there are a host of restaurants and bars also located there. It is about a 6mins walk from the home.It is very well located in the heart of the old town and offers guests with all the local amenities from buses, train, taxis, shops, restaurants, bars. The property is ideally situated for those wanting to take a break with plenty to do and see but without having to rent a car or to walk for long distances.

Cannot be faulted

This is the second time we have been to Cascais with Sandra and Ketan. Our flight was late and Ketan met us at the airport without a “nameboard” but he actually recognised us from two years ago! This was a different apartment to last time because we wanted something in town. Bit concerned about the lack of air conditioning but even though daytime temps were in the thirties we did not need the fan provided as there were great cooling breezes in the evening and the apartment has plenty of windows. The place couldn’t be better located and we are planning to return next year. It is in a nice residential area two minutes walk from the Ribeira beach. It was very clean and had everything you needed for cooking (not that we did any). The balcony outside is great with some sea views and there is a table/chairs/sunbeds. The upper balcony has fantastic views but we did not use this because it had no shade (the lower balcony has two awnings). The patio doors open right out so the outside and inside space become one. Couldn’t fault it in any way and Sandra and Ketan are great managers and such nice people. If you want a great value beach holiday with some culture thrown in if you need it then Cascais is the place to go and I can strongly recommend using Sandra and Ketan’s service(s). Lisbon, Sintra, Belem and other good visiting places are all within a short journey if the weather isn’t great. Eating out is great value and there is are some excellent restaurants literally within 100 metres (5 Sentidos,and Os Bordellos to name but two). There are one or two to avoid as well (in our opinion being Flamingo and Il Siciliano) which we would not reurn to (see separate reviews). There are a couple of small supermarkets for essentials within two minutes walk and a slightly larger Pingo Doce about 7 minutes walk . The biggest Jumbo supermarket is in the main shopping centre about 10 minutes walk. Can’t really fault Cascais. We have been before and will return.

Central Apartment

The apartmet was light, airy and bright. Lots of outside space. Ideal location for town and beach. Near station and bus station. ketan and Sandra were very helpful. Would recommend for a couple.

We love Cascais, been there for last 15 year.

Affordable apartment in central Cascai. light and pleasant good view. we have all these years been living at Cidadela hotel but now wanted to find something else to stay. this apartment is perfect for 2 people. Sandra and Ketan is perfect for this type of work. When we managed to forget the key on the kitchen table so come Ketan and locked up. We recommend gladly apartment to our friends

Well located, good value.

The apartment is ideally located for a stay in Cascais, and only a short walk to the train and bus stations for days out to Lisbon and Sintra. Sandra and Ketan had advised against hiring a car as parking is very difficult and we were glad we took their advice. Although the outside of the apartment block is not particularly inviting it is situated in a quiet street in the old part of the town and just minutes from the beach. The 360 degree views from the roof terrace are fantastic and the balcony is a great place to sit out for meals. The apartment is well equipped, we found it comfortable and adequate for 2 people.

Sandra and Ketan were helpful before and during our stay and we would recommend using their airport transfer service.

We would certainly recommend ... not the height of luxury but good value for money.

Great space great location

The property is very close to the town beach and has great views from the balcony and roof terrace. Cascais is a really good town with lots of very good restaurants at reasonable prices and with the apartments kitchenette and BBQ we occasionally ate on the balcony. Ketan picked us up from the airport so we did not need to hire a car and the public transport to Lisbon and Sintra was excellent making it a relaxed holiday for the both of us.

A Perfect Pad

A magic, well appointed appointed apartment, with sea views . It's 2 mins, from the sea and 10 mins walk from train/bus stations. All shops/restaurants are close by. There are no negatives about this lovely place. Sandra and Ketan who oversee the rentals, are so helpful, in every way.

The nearest called fisherman’s beach and is located less than a minutes walk from the home. there are a further 2 to 3 beaches all from a 5 to 10 minute walk away. For those who may have rental vehicle, there a great beaches along the Lisbon coastline and can be reached in 5 to 25mins by car from Cascais to Sintra. Free bicycles available near the property for the adventurous to go to Guincho beach along its fabulous 8km cycling/jogging track.


Most worldwide airlines offer direct flights into Lisbon Airport. The property is roughly 28km from the airport, if you wish to pre-book our personal airport transfer service, one of our drivers will be waiting for you and your party at the airport terminal. Transport for 2 people with reasonably sized luggage in a private minivan to this destination is currently available. Golf: Golf in the area is a major attraction and the following courses are within close reach. Estoril - The close to the Property and well known for its hosting of the Portuguese Open 19 times.
