Lovely dog friendly holiday cottage with sea view

  • 5 of 5

Stayed in March 2017 which was our second stay at this lovely holiday cottage which is well equipped and very easy to book direct with the owners. The photos and description are accurate but don't give justice to the beautiful harbour view from the open plan living / dinning / kitchen area and balcony. Dog friendly but spotlessly clean and the secure on-site parking is a definite bonus. Easy access to drive in and out of St Ives without the need to drive through the town but close enough to walk within a few minutes to the shops, pubs and restaurants. A very enjoyable stay and we would thoroughly recommend this holiday property.........just as long as no-one else has booked it when we next want to!

Further Details:

Widely regarded as the jewel in Cornwall’s crown St Ives is a beautiful harbour and seaside town, set in breathtaking coastal scenery - whatever the time of year or day, St Ives gives something special to every visit and thats why people return again and again.

The town is located around the stunning harbour, the heart of the historic fishing community with fishing boats still working today. Watch the seals as they follow the boats in and wait for a treat. Explore winding cobbled streets, finding treasures such as small independent shops, galleries, restaurants and bars. The St Ives Museum and The Tate St Ives and Barbara hepworth’s garden.

Or choose from the other many high quality activities there are to fill your day, beaches with opportunities for surfing, sailing, fishing and diving, Boat hire, boat trips to see the wildlife, breathtaking coastal walks, guided Pirate walks, world class restaurants, or just people watch in one of the cosy cafes or pubs with friendly locals with tall stories to tell.

Discover the bright and shining southwest tip of Cornwall for yourself in the ancient town of St Ives nestling amongst rich, magnificent coastal scenery. With the clean air, golden sandy beaches, amazing light and scented sub-tropical gardens.

If it's not in St Ives itself then it's never very far away in Cornwall. Within easy driving distance of St Ives is the National Maritime Museum, the Eden Project, Flambards Theme Park, The Minack Theatre, Levant and Poldark mines, aquariums, zoos and animal parks, the tropical gardens at Trebah, Glendurgan, Trelissick, Trewidden, and many more.

Thanks to warm summers and Britain's mildest climate, the delights of St Ives, and the magic of Cornwall are here to be enjoyed all year round.
