Cherry Tree Lodge is a large detached country house, set within rolling countryside and only minutes from the sea. It's an ideal location for families, featuring a spacious kitchen, with dining area to house 8 guests. Beautiful mature gardens, which can be gated off on both sides of the property, offering a safe sanctuary to families with young children. Explore the local area, and take in the sights of nearby village Marazion as well as the famous St Michael's Mount. The hubbub of Penzance is only moments away by car, and local beaches such as Sennen and Porthcurno are only a 15 minute drive away.

About Nigel Waller

Local businessman - has lived in Penzance all my life, runs own restaurant/bistro on seafront in Penzance called 'The Boatshed' café bar and restaurant.

I am also a keen sports person and former professional deep sea diver. I love this coast line here and enjoy going for a good swim across Mounts Bay.

I enjoy meeting people and give as much information as I can on what to see and do when you are here. These apartments completed by myself just over five years ago . They are to a very high specification and are contained in one of the oldest harbourside buildings in Penzance.

We believe good service is paramount and are on hand to help out at all times should you need any help or advice on anything.

Beautiful Country House with very generous proportions. Great Kitchen dining/living space with large traditional kitchen dineing table adjacent to living area with sofa and wood burner.

A great family house - indeed ideal for two families having two bathrooms and being able to sleep up to ten people.

Fabulous country walks with Marazion beach and St Michales Mount is only a five minute drive away. Indeed it is only a ten minute drive to Penzance. Makes an ideal location for being able to visit the whole area.

What makes this cottage unique

Cherry Tree also has a lovely garden/ bbq area which is a great Sun trap in the summer. Also some lovely walks especially if you have dogs. The Hamlet of Plain an Gwarry is surrounded by fields and woodlands with lakes and fen land nearby. Marazion is only about a fifteen/twenty minute walk away. Parking and easy uncontested access makes this an ideal location as a base to visit the area.

A wonderful house, perfectly suited to 2 families (with respective dogs). Very flexible and comfortable accommodation. Very helpful host. Immediate attention to problem with heating. Had a fantastic New Year's break here - a well equipped and comfortable house in a great part of the country!! Would definitely revisit. :-)
