Fully modernised traditional chalet. Situated on the edge of the 15th century gold mining town of Rauris – just a few minutes gentle walk from the picturesque church and town centre & approximately an hours drive from Salzburg – this delightful chalet benefits from its prime position with uninterrupted stunning views of both peaceful valley & spectacular panoramic mountains. Being particularly child friendly (cots, high chairs etc. included) it’s a wonderful place for families to holiday with children and a fantastic place for groups to explore the mountains. The extensive timber, south facing, sun deck houses relaxing seating with views to the Sonnblick glacier.
This partner has demonstrated and is committed to fast response times, the best rates, and a great guest experience.
We were awestruck by the beauty of Rauris Valley and of the view from our chalet window. We enjoyed many dinners outside admiring the view. The chalet was just perfect. Very well equipped and maintained. Super clean too! It accommodated all 8 of us very nicely. We would definitely return and would highly recommend.
Outstanding property for our holiday. All communications with the owners were very quick and easy to deal with and the local "caretaker" was really lovely and helpful. The property was extremely comfortable, clean and very well located for our holiday. Would highly recommend both the property and the area for a holiday in the most stunning scenery. The Austrian people are very nice and welcoming! The best recommendation I can say is that we would definitely return to this gorgeous chalet again.
well we could not have asked for better the chalet was clean spacious comfortable and accommodating to the extreme , board games dvds cds etc for all the family, the chalet was well equipt and although there was 8 of us there was plenty of room , the surrounding area was perfik the people were freindly and helpful and the children were welcomed where ever we went , i am disabled and the downstairs bedroom was great for us ,we want to go staight back and we are looking into a future visit well done loved it
Our family of four have just returned from a fantastic weeks stay at the chalet. The views from the chalet are stunning and Rauris itself is a lovely little town with a brilliant outdoor pool. The chalet felt like home straight away, was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. We will certainly be returning as soon as possible.
This chalet really is special. It is chocolate box pretty on the outside, but modernised inside with under floor heating and endless hot water. It occupies a beautiful position looking down the valley towards the village where the church rises up to create the most beautiful vista. In truth you need a car, but you probably need one to get from Salzburg Airport anyway(1 hour 10 in fog!). The kitchen is well-equipped and thus self-catering is easy as there are two good supermarkets in the village. However, there are several nice restaurants, all modestly priced (Gasthaus Brau, Stadl to name but 2), as are the mountain restaurants. Love this place and highly recommend - just please don't go there when I want it.
We had a wonderful week,
Very clean ,well equipped, spacious.
Ideal spot for exploring, kaprun,zell,salzberg,innsbruck
The chalet was kept very warm which was very welcome when the start of the week was very cold.
The village was very friendly and a good night with ample FIREWORKS was enjoyed on new years eve ..
Yes i would recommend this chalet to friends and family and are going back next year cant wait big thanks from us all :) :)
