Further along and you have Cornwall’s largest fishing fleet based at Newlyn, and you can't stop in Newlyn without sampling some of Jelbert's ice cream - the local favourite!

About the Owner

Local businessman - has lived in Penzance all my life, runs own restaurant/bistro on seafront in Penzance called 'The Boatshed' café bar and restaurant.

I am also a keen sports person and former professional deep sea diver. I love this coast line here and enjoy going for a good swim across Mounts Bay.

I enjoy meeting people and give as much information as I can on what to see and do when you are here. These apartments completed by myself just over five years ago . They are to a very high specification and are contained in one of the oldest harbourside buildings in Penzance.

We believe good service is paramount and are on hand to help out at all times should you need any help or advice on anything.

Comfortable, ideally situated, well equipped.

Have had a good weekend at the flat. Seen all family been able to come and go. Brilliantly catered for. Very kind to put washing up liquid etc. You don't always want to buy such small amounts. Enjoyed it immensely. Lovely.

Location

Penzance, a vibrant market town with lots of restaurants , bars and interesting shops is a great location as a base to be able to explore this whole far west Cornwall Peninsular. Between Penzance and Lands End are some of the best beaches and coastal walks in the area. if you enjoy outdoor sports this is also a great place to be especailly if you like coastal walking, Surfing, Sailing and Diving. The coastal waters around here are rich in marine life and it is an amazing place to explore ancient wrecks also.

Long Rock beach 500m - 2 miles sandy beaches leading to Marazion and St Michaels Mount.

Sennen and Gwenver beach - Family and surfing beach 20 minutes by car.

Porthcurno - beautiful secluded beach, perfect for sun-bathing and 'getting away from it all'.

Travel:

Bus & Train Station 400m by foot

Newquay Airport 40 minutes by car

Plymouth Ferry 100 miles 1.5 hours by car

Isles of Scilly Ferry Terminal 100m

At the same time you are only a five minute walk from the town centre of Penzance being conveniently located at the bottom of Chapel Street. Chapel Street is the Bond Street of Penzance with a variety of interesting buildings shops, art galleries, restaurants and bars.
