The 2 bedroom apartment sleeps 4/5 and has secure, lockable storage for bikes, as well as two off-road parking places for cars

Morzine is a lively traditional alpine village with huge appeal both for snow sports in winter and alpine activities in summer. The air is clear, the views spectacular and there are endless things to do.

Utility Room: Laundry cupboard with washing machine, drying rack and iron/ironing board located in hallway. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Towels and bedlinen are included in the rental and the property will be cleaned before arrival. We would ask that you leave the property in the condition you found it or an additional cleaning charge may be applied. Other: Ski locker located in basement along with lockable underground garage plus outdoor, off-road parking space. Lift accessing all floors.

Fantastic stay

We stayed here for 10 days in June, the apartment is in a great location conveniently located between lifts. It is very well equipped with everything you would need during your stay and a short walk to restaurants, supermarkets and swimming pool. We ate out several times and all of our meals were good but we especially enjoyed La Rotonde which is located over the road - the steaks were great

The multi pass is a great feature and gave us access to the lifts and the pool throughout our stay

Rosie was very helpful responding to our questions and helping us plan our stay, we would definitely stay here agin

Modern central apartment with great views

I’ve just returned from a week skiing in Morzine with my partner and two friends where we had a fantastic weeks stay in Le Schuss Apartment. Just as described the apartment is centrally located, nice and close to all the restaurants, shops, ski lifts, and most importantly the après bars!

On arrival it was very easy to find and, once in, you can access the underground parking with ease. Watch out if you have a roof box though as we had to unpack and remove it before we could fit in the garage. From the garage level there is a lift that takes you to within a couple of metres of the apartment door. Great when you’ve got lots of kit and shopping to lug up the stairs.

The apartment was very warm and clean when we arrived. Just as the photos show, its modern, clean cut, and with great mountain views. Everything was in good working order and there were plenty of utensils and pots and pans for our use. There was even a bottle of wine to welcome us!

The beds were very warm and comfortable and it was great to have the choice of a double bed in both rooms. There is a large set of drawers and hangers in each room, so perfect amount of storage for a week of clothes and ski stuff.

The living, dining and kitchen area is all open plan which makes it really nice and sociable if someone has to be in the kitchen cooking. If you want to keep up to date with British TV then there is plenty of channels to choose from otherwise, if you’re like me, there is a fire place that is super cosy to sit in front of. You’ll have to buy the wood though, but this can easily be done at the local supermarket, which is only a couple of minutes walk away.

There is a balcony that wraps around two side of the apartment. Although it was a bit too cold to stay out there too long at this time of year it was nice place to get some good photos of the town and mountains. The door handles were a little stiff, but we soon worked out how to open them.

The management of the property is very well handled. Rosie responded very quickly to any questions I had and was also very accommodating to our needs. In resort Claire was the first point of contact and she was very quick to respond to my text. Other than an initial text there was very little interaction whilst in resort but I got the feeling that had I needed any assistance they would have been very happy to help.

I will definitely be recommending the apartment to friends, and should we return to Morzine again we would love to come back.

SUPERBE VUE SUR LA MONTAGNE

Nous avons passé une semaine au mois d'octobre.

L'appartement est agréable et très lumineux.

La cuisine bien équipée.

Nous y retournerons certainement. D'ailleurs nous voulions y retourner dès cet hiver, car il est idéalement situé pour le ski. Malheureusement, à nos dates de vacances l'appartement est déjà réservé.

Tres bon sejour

Location

Coast/Beach:

Lake Montriond is a 10 minute drive from the apartment and is ideal for swimming in the summer. A lifeguard is on duty during July and August and there are restaurants, pony rides, canoes for hire and flat lakeside walks as well as a waterfall. The lake at Les Gets is also a 10 minute drive away and the beautiful lakes of Annecy and Geneva are approximately an 1 hour's drive away.

Travel:

Geneva Airport is just over 1 hour's drive.

Lyon/Grenoble Airport 2 hour drive.

Chambery Airport 2 hour drive.

Calais 8 hour drive.

Car hire recommended in summer for making the most of the area and activities. Transfers from Geneva Aiport readily available in both winter and summer. Car hire not needed in winter.

Distances:

Chamonix = 1 hour 30 mins

Annecy = 1 hour 15 mins

Lake Geneva = 40 minutes

Geneva Town = 1 hour 15 mins

Yvoire = 1 hour

Thonon = 40 mins

Further Details:

There are 3 supermarkets in Morzine and a larger one just 5 minutes' drive away in St Jean D'Aulps. There are plenty of restaurants, shops and banking facilities/ATMs. There are two ice rinks, an indoor one which is open throughout the year and an outdoor one in winter in the village centre. There is a large open air swimming pool with children's area which is open in the summer months and a recently opened indoor pool alongside, as well as the new water park nearby in Avoriaz. There are plenty of activities on offer throughout winter and summer including skiing, walking, mountain biking, horse riding, 'Indiana Parc' tree-top rope course, summer luge, paragliding, golfing, helicopter trips, sledging, ice diving etc... Please see the official Morzine website for a full list of activities. Temperatures in the summer often reach 30 degrees and above. In the winter, although cold, lunches are usually consumed outside the cafes soaking up the sun!
