About the Owner

At Ashby villa we run a bed and breakfast and studio apartments. Our whole business is based on hospitality, with over 20 years experience, we think we get it right,or at least we try our very best. Your holiday is important to us, I will personally be here to ensure you have all you need and help in anyway.

Our holiday home in Spain is our escape to the sun, a very very well equipped house so very close to the sea, looking after by a good local friend on hand to offer advice on the area.

This is the best accommodation we have ever stayed in and Lesley is the prefect host, nothing too much trouble..

A truly warm welcome, felt so at home and the rooms are beautifully furnished..

Lesley, love the new studio, reminds me of a retro beach hut, well done...

Darling Dog House

  • 5 of 5

Lesley allowed us to stay even though the family was absent. The door would be open, she said, last cottage in the garden. After a chilly day riding our bikes from Penzance, 43 miles or so, the warm and cosy Dog House cottage was a welcome shelter. It is so prettily furnished, with a kitchenette, and Lesley left us cookies and chocolates in addition to the usual tea and coffee. We went shopping, cooked dinner, had great showers, and tumbled into bed, though we could have made a little fire. But we were just too tired. The mattress was just fabulous. Everything in the place was of a high quality, and it was so homey as well.

A real battery recharger

  • 5 of 5

We hadn't realized how much we needed a break until we arrived but Lesley's warm welcome and the oh so cosy and rustic 'cabin' as we called it, was all incredibly soothing. Tregony is lovely and the surrounding beaches are gorgeous. We just walked, talked, ate and drank......oh and laughed a lot! Totally brilliant place and hosts - must be recommend!

This was a lovely little apprtment and the end of a very British garden, we felt so at home, Lesley even offered us the best breakfast in her conservatory with her other guests one day. Los of advice on the area and its so very very beautifull, best place we stayed in Cornwall and very well priced, fab. if you are looking to stay somewhere diffrent, this is it.

Location

From the Owner

We bought Ashby villa 2 years ago, it was a thriving vets practice for over 40 years. Crazy enough to take on this major renovation we have restored the house into a family home and the kennels into 3 rooms for letting. We run a successful bed and breakfast business from them. The newly converted garage was once the operating theatre and is now a rustic, cosy beach hut!! Its fully functional, romantic, secluded and snug, we love it! Perfect for a couple and perhaps the odd dog. Tregony is so well placed at the entrance of the Roseland Peninsula, perfect to explore this most beautiful unspoilt part of South Cornwall.
