A two bedroom, ground floor apartment, which can sleep up to 4 people plus travel cot. Beautifully furnished to a very high standard with glass curtains fitted on the terrace to increase living space. It is situated next to 2 large pools one with a children’s pool. Ideal location opposite 5* hotel which has excellent spa, fitness and leisure facilities and only 2 minute walk from town centre, bars, restaurants and supermarket. The apartment has cable TV, DVD plus DVD's, free internet, a Wii console plus games and an I Phone docking station. The resort has an 18 hole Jack Nicklaus designed golf course with a further 4 more Nicklaus designed courses within a 20 min drive and La Manga is 30 mins away. The fantastic beaches of Mar Menor are 15 minutes away for year round swimming and water sports. The beautiful cities of Murcia and Cartagena are approx a 30 minute drive away and offer superb shopping facilities and tourist attractions, Murcia and is also home to an excellent water park.

About the Owner

My name is Simon Patton and I purchased the Villa at La Torre in August 2014. I Have invested in the property to give it a contemporary yet comfortable feel and furnished it to a very high standard. I will personally be using the property a as a holiday home and as a base for golf. La Torre is a fantastic resort and is great for couples, family or golfing holidays and has everything you need on-site, bars, restaurants, supermarket, bank etc.

Brilliant Time

Me and my friends visited this apartment and it as exactly as shown in the pictures. The resort it's self is beautiful, although we didn't get chance to explore all of it. The pool nearest to the apartment is just around the corner. I would recommend this villa to anyone, but I would say rent a car, it can be expensive to get taxis! So much to do in the towns near by and the Irish bar on the resort was one of our favourites!!

Will definitely be looking at booking again!

Best we have stayed in!

This was our 4th visit to La Torre and there is no doubt that this apartment is by far the best we have stayed in. From the quality of the furnishings to the size of the terrace and patio area, Simon the owner has done an amazing job. The location is also ideal, a lovely, quiet large corner plot but only a 2 minute walk from the town centre.

It has beautiful white furniture and in the lounge and high quality rattan furniture on the terrace plus 4 good quality sun loungers. It was immaculate when we first arrived and the keyholder (Kath) was also extremely helpful showing us around the property

From the moment we enquired Simon has been excellent (very quick responses) and his communication from pre to post stay was first class.

Overall a fantastic rental experience and it is no surprise that the apartment is booked up already for the summer. Could not recommend high enough.

Really nice apartment

The apartment was first class, furnished beautifully and very clean, everything you could want, the owner has done a first class job. Simon's communication was also excellent, could not fault him. Only criticism for us, which may not apply to everyone is that La Torre is very well kept, but wished there were a few more things to do there, i.e. restaurants, but this could be because we were early in the season. Overall a very good holiday, Simon could not have done more.

We'll definitely be returning to this apartment!

From the outset, we were given all the information we needed in preparation for our holiday. Thanks to Simon for that!

The photos in the listing almost do justice to the apartment. It's light, stylish and really well-equipped. The kitchen has everything you need. The outside space is split into a covered tiled area with dining furniture and the patio is perfect for relaxing and sunbathing. Great views!

The resort is really safe, clean and well-maintained. It's relatively quiet during the day but in the evening there are a few bars and restaurants should you want to 'eat out'. We travelled as a couple but there were families with children of all ages out and about in the evenings. Venturing further afield into the neighbouring towns is highly recommended, as are trips to Los Alcazares and Cartagena. Hiring a car is something to consider.

Would use again!

Just back from La Torre and we loved every minute.

The apartment is as described, it's like a home from home, everything you need is there. It's very comfortable, I prefer it's bed to my own (brand new) bed. The patio area is lovely to sit in and watch the stars on an evening and the position between 2 pools is perfect. It is situated very close to the restaurants and supermarket but not close enough to be disturbed by any noise.

The resort itself is quiet, you definitely need a car to get around and see the sights of the region. We only tried the tapas restaurant on site, not to our taste but good service. The ice cream shop is a must try, the sorbets are to die for!

The owner, Simon, is quick to respond to any queries and very helpful, we have our deposit back already, we got back 2 days ago. Faultless service.

We would definitely use this apartment again, in fact I'm already pricing flights!

What a beautiful styled apartment. Furniture and fittings are gorgeous, great choice. Everything about this is top notch. Loved the fact you have an extra patio area to sit in and sunbathe. Two minutes from two well maintained pools. Can't fault it. Washer, dishwasher, fridge freezer, microwave, toaster, kettle, hairdryers. Could go on and on. A tad quiet on the complex but come the summer months should pick up.

Coast/Beach:

The beautiful beaches of the Mar Menor are approx 15 minutes away by car with the Mediterranean coastline stretching either way with the La Manga to the west and and beaches of Campomar, Los Alcazares and La Zenia to the east.

Travel:

San Javier airport at Murcia is a 15 minute drive away and Alicante airport is a 50 minute drive. Airport transfers can be arranged prior to your arrival and on your departure and there are car hire companies based at the airport. A new airport at Corvera is due to open Summer 2013 and this is approx 10 mins from the resort.

Distances:

The beautiful cities of Murcia and Cartagena are approximately 30 minutes by car. The closest town of Roldan is a 5 minute drive and Torre Paheco is about 10 minutes and each have a good selection of restaurants and shops.

Booking Notes:
A 20% deposit is payable at the time of booking and your booking will not be secured until the payment has cleared. The balance due is payable 12 weeks before the arrival date. If the arrival date is less than 12 weeks from booking date the full balance will be payable. A refundable security deposit of £200 is payable at the time of paying the balance to cover for any damage and breakages. Cleaning is mandatory and a cost of 55 euros will be payable directly to the local agent on departure.



Changeover Day:
Changeover days and arrival/departure times are flexible and dependent on future bookings however a departure time of 11am would be required if other people are arriving the following day.

Notes on prices:
The minimum stay is 3 nights however a nightly rate is available at a flat rate of £45 per night throughout the year.

Deposit of 20% required to secure the booking with balance and security deposit due 8 weeks prior to arrival

Cleaning charge of 55 euros to be left in property on departure

  • Notes on accommodation: The property has air conditioning and ceiling fans in the bedroom and gas central heating for the cooler months. The large terrace/dining room has had glass curtains fitted to allow for all year round use, they can be closed in the cooler months and fully opened up in the summer. The property also has an additional 20sqm of outside patio space for sunbathing etc. There is also a beautiful pagoda picnic area directly to the rear of the property. There are two large pools (one with a children’s pool) to the left and right at the rear. The property was fully re-furbished in January 2013 and has brand new high quality furniture throughout. The apartment also has an underground car parking space for one car. The resort has a supermarket, bank, pharmacy, gift shop, ice cream parlour, 5 *hotel, 5 restaurants and 3 bars. For larger parties it may be possible for me to secure additional rental properties on the resort. Outside: The apartment overlooks the 4th hole of the golf course and has a beautiful picnic area to the rear. There is high quality comfy patio furniture including a 2 seater settee, 2 armchairs, coffee table and footstool. There are 4 Sun loungers available that are lightweight and can be easily carried to the pool areas. There is a large terrace and separate patio area. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: The apartment is cleaned before your arrival for which a mandatory charge of 55 Euros is payable locally on departure. One set of bed linen and towels is included and a further clean can be arranged and paid for locally if required. Other: The terrace has had glass curtains and interior tiles fitted to increase the overall living space for all year round use. The terrace has a beautiful 4 seater dining table and 6 chairs. There is also high standard patio furniture and four sun loungers.
