I live in Whitchurch Shropshire with my wife and we both work at our family business Victoriagarage.com,but spend most of our holidays in the algarve where we have many friends and fallen in love with the country.

Why Alan Ball chose Loule

We love the loule area so much because it is within reach of all the action of the coastal resorts but retains the local way of life.The beaches are only 20 minutes by car and many wonderful golf courses are within easy reach.The property is very private and sits on a hill overlooking the valley below with the sea visable in the distance.

What makes this house unique

The property,although only a few minutes from loule centre and supermarket is at the end of a small road on a hill overlooking beautiful countyside. Its main asset is that is is so private that you are not overlooked and very few vehicles pass each day. This allows total relaxation and rest if required without being disturbed.

The salt-water swimming pool can be heated if required but in summer months the pool cover generally keeps the pool up to 30c if covered at night. If a little night life is required,Vilamoura is only 20 minutes by car or a short taxi ride.

Plenty of seating for dining and loungers provided for relaxing. Utility Room: Washing machine and tumble dryer. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Towels and linen included.The property is cleaned weekly and towels and linen will be changed at this time

A really well equipped and spacious property!

Ideal for our party of 7.

The facilities were superb, e.g. pool, Wi-Fi, BBQ, various outside seating areas. The owner was also very helpful and easy to deal with. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and would definitely consider returning.

Excellent property, peaceful location.

This is a beautiful villa in a lovely peaceful location. The villa has everything you need, the pool is great. The children loved swimming in the evening when the pool was lit up. The villa is spotless and has everything you need. The beds are comfortable, air conditioning is great. Wi fi works well. The grounds around the villa are also great.

The restaurants and beach are only a 15 minutes drive away. Alan the owner could not have been anymore helpful. Deposit was returned within a few days of our return. A really great holiday villa!

Wonderful villa for families

Villa was everything that was promised, whole family loved it - it was better in real life than the pictures. We had everything we needed. Children loved the swimming pool - internet was efficient. We would definitely recommend this to anyone wanting a comfortable, peaceful holiday. The owner gave us all the information and directions we needed. Thank you - Ahamad and Christine

Relaxing home from home

Casa Up Beyond is by far the best property we have had the pleasure of staying in. From the moment you drive through the gate you feel at home. The location and views are very relaxing and beautiful. The villa accommodation couldn't be any better and has everything available that you require for a family holiday. We spent 3 full days of our holiday in the villa itself, thats how comfortable it is. Even the kids didn't mind as they had the pool, garden, orchid and the neighbours pets to keep them amused.

Alan, the owner, couldn't have been more helpful. He says he wants you to feel at home and you would find it difficult to.

This was our first trip to Portugal and we will be returning in the future with more family and friends and Casa Up Beyond will be our first choice of accommodation.

A very very lovely place for a super holiday

Casa Up Beyond is excellent.

It's close enough to great places to see some life (Loule, Faro, the beaches, good restaurants etc), and far enough away to have some time to yourselves.

The villa is very comfortable, it has the perfect amount of space for 8 people, with homely and tasteful trimmings.

The swimming pool is brilliant and the water temperature was spot on all the time. We also loved the fact the pool light came on every evening adding to the great ambiance.

The beds were very comfortable and the air conditioning worked well - helping everyone sleep easily.

The grounds and the plants were lovely too.

The first time I spoke to the owner on the phone, he said "we just want people to be happy there", and that's exactly what we were - we didn't want to leave.

We'd love to go back there another time, so hopefully we will.

Fabulous Holiday

Just back from a fantastic two week stay with our (grown-up!) family.

The Villa is in a quiet location in the hills above the coast, but close to Loule for its great local market and good supermarket. Fabulous beaches and a good range of restaurants are all within 15-20mins drive.

It offered everything we needed, and more. The outdoor space is perfect, with a great pool, plenty of sunloungers and chairs, a good choice of sun and shade, and a wonderfully relaxing view as far as the coast in the distance. Wi-fi was a definite plus for the iPad generation among us. The bedrooms were comfortable, with air conditioning in each, and the bathrooms were well equipped and spotlessly clean, although plumbing anywhere in Portugal isn't quite up to our domestic standards!

Alan proved to be a very considerate and helpful owner, offering lots of advice and tips on where to eat/shop, all of which proved very reliable. Icing on the cake was the refund of the security deposit within three days of our return!

One thing to watch for - a tricky turn off the Sao Bras road from Loule, which the taxi driver from the airport couldn't find....but who cares about such minor quibbles!

Would definitely consider going again.
