Spacious 3-bedroom ground floor apartment, superbly located in the quiet Phase 4 of the outstanding 5 star Roda Golf and Beach Resort in Los Alcazares, Murcia. This beautiful air-conditioned (or heated) apartment sleeps 6, has been comprehensively furnished for all needs and the private front terrace and small garden is south-west facing and only a few steps away from the well maintained communial garden and pool area. It has a fully equipped kitchen, large sitting area and dining tables both inside and outside. There is free WiFi for all our guests. As a guest at Roda you can enjoy access to all the facilities at the resort, which includes a par 72 golf course and a Club house (also with free WiFi). At the Club house there is an outside café at the 2nd floor as well as an indoor restaurant plus a roof top bar and disco. There is also paddle tennis courts, a tennis court and a five-a-side football/basketball area. Separate from the Club house you can find a fully equipped gym offering a variety of regular exercise classes at various rates.
Next to the gym there is a Mini Market where you can find the most necessary groceries. There is normally fresh bread and newspapers in the mornings.

We had a really great stay at your apartment, very clean and the aircon did a great job on the very hot days. A very safe place for the kids and the location beside the pool is excellent.

In the many years we have been visiting Roda and have stayed in all types of apartments, this is by far the best, the layout, position, quality is excellent and the owners are a pleasure, the only disappointment is not being able to spend more time there !
We have just returned after a weeks stay at the apartment, four adults. It was perfect,everything we needed, a quiet week the pool to ourselves and the men enjoyed the golf on the very well kept course. On arrival we weren't met unfortunately as we arrived very late, it was hard to find as we were not given the road names or roundabout names and as there are a few it was difficult as we only had how many left & right turns and bumps! A site map with names would be useful for arrival and even the first few days for those who don't have a Sat Nav! The resort is perfect so well kept and the club house serves nice food and friendly staff. A lovely place. Thank you
We've just got back from a two week break at mr and mrs Welsh's apartment and what a fantastic holiday we had,the apartment is beautiful/spacious and really well equipped.most of our days were spent relaxing around the Pool and gardens.A short taxi ride into los alcazares and there's plenty of restaurants and bars to choose from with a nice family atmosphere. The beach is good too and the waters of the mar menor are warm.We also ate in the golf club house as well which was only a short walk and good food. For those of you interested in playing golf the course is of a very good standard/condition. We wouldn't hesitate to go back here 10/10 :-)
We stayed in the apartment for 15 nights, we are a family of 2 Adults and 3 boys aged 12,9,3 and we couldn't have asked for more! From the moment we contacted Solfrid we knew we were dealing with a Genuine, honest property owner... on arrival we met Victoria who handles the property and she explained everything to us quickly. The pool is in front of the property and the terrace is south facing so plenty of sun on it, the apartment is very spacious and ground floor which helps a lot with kids going to the pool. The apartment has everything in it you would ever possibly need. We will definitely be going back in 2015. Thanks again Martin, Deb & boys
We are a spanish family with tree young children. We went there by car and the firt impresion of the flat and Roda resort was really better than we espected. The flat it,s really well fitted, clean and well decorated.
We had a very relaxing holidays because the swimming pool was in front of the garden,s flat and we just to send the children to play in it and we were having a drink o reading in the garden.
Roda Resort is,t amazing, huge, clean, and we find one of the best in security. We apreciate it a lot
In the village there are a lot of restaurants, supermarkets and the beach. You will need a car
We went to Murcia Aquapark, rafting in Piraguismo La Blanca and snorkel in Palos, and nearly every night cycling in Roda resort.

“We spent a lot of time looking for what is effectively our second home, and ended up choosing Murcia and Roda Golf Resert for a number of reasons. The area has a micro climate which is absolutely lovely; not too hot in summer and with less rain than the surrounding areas. There are a multitude of things to do in the immediate area so that if we want to do something other than relax we can. Finally the Roda resort is really special; the buildings are lovely and finished to a high standard, plus the open layout gives a feeling of privacy. All in all, just what we were looking for. We have tried to make our apartment as comfortable as possible, and sincerely hope that you will enjoy staying there every bit as much as we do.”
Activity and Interests
It is 3 km, or 10 minutes drive, to the nearest Blue Flag beaches of the Mar Menor. Mar Menor is a huge fairly shallow lagoon, with beautifully maintained sandy and shallow beaches. Being almost enclosed the water is warm, making it suitable for young children. On the ocean side of the La Manga Strip side or to the villages to the north of the lagoon you find stunning locations to swim in the Mediterranean. If you wish you can try kitesurfing, windsurfing, sailing, diving or just take a boat-trip across.
To the north lies the villages of San Pedro de Pinatar and Lo Pagan, with beautiful beaches. Lo Pagan is famous for their mud baths; free to the public and considered very healthy and therapeutic for the skin.
Roda is only 10 minutes from San Javier airport or 55 minutes from Alicante airport by car. There are plenty of taxies available at the airports as well as carhire. Please remember that Spain can have temperatures in the 30ies during the daytime in summer and we therefore recommend our guests to hire a car. Our caretakers at Roda will be able to supply details of local car hires at San Javier and Alicante airport.
From the Roda Resort it's 1 km to the nearest town of Los Alcazares. The shallow beaches of Mar Menor are only 3 km away. The nearest large shopping centre, Dos Mares, is 10 minutes away by car towards Alicante. The historic town of Cartagena, and the capital of the region, Murcia can also be reached within 30 minutes.
From the Roda resort it is only 3 kilometers to the many fantastic blue flag beaches of the Mar Menor (the largest natural seawater lagoon in Europe, also known for its healing saline water and therapeutic mud baths). The promenade along the shore is a great walk or cycle and is filled with beach cafe’s and snack bars.
The 2 villages on the sides of the resort; San Javier and Los Alcazares is within a few minutes drive and has a multitude of restaurants, bars, supermarkets and shops. Los Alcazares has a weekly fruit and vegetable market and during summer a daily evening market for souvenirs, clothes and so on. The information booklet in our apartment will give you further details.
At the beachfront of Los Alcazares one can rent sailboats, take windsurfing and kite surfing lessons as well as boat hire. If you travel down to the La Manga side of the bay there is scuba diving and jet skiing on offer. A bit inland there is mountain trekking, quad biking, horse riding and wineries.
On the resort there is a fully equipped gym which also offers various exercise classes both in the morning and afternoons. Memberships can be bought on a weekly basis.
Next to the gym is the Mini Market, normally open till 20.00 during summer. It stocks basic groceries, has daily delivery of fresh bread and newspapers as well as frozen goods, like british bacon and sausages. They also have a used paperback library.
The nearest shopping centre, Dos Mares is 10 minutes away and the very large, modern shopping centre Espacio Mediterráneo located just before Cartagena can be reached in 30 minutes. Both offering numerous shops with the latest fashion in clothing and shoes.
The historic towns of Cartagena; known for its roman ruins can be reached within 30 minutes.
The capital of Murcia; Murcia is also about 30 minutes away by car and is a very scenic drive through the mountainpass.

We do request a deposit of 50% of the booking cost to be paid to secure the booking and the remainder to be paid 6 weeks prior to arrival.
We also ask for a damage deposit of 175 gbp and this will be refunded as soon as possible after departure.
End of stay cleaning and laundry costs of 85 euro (Calculated here as 65 gbp) are not included in the rental price, but are to be paid in cash on arrival or at an agreed time during the stay direct to our Caretakers at Roda.
Saturday is the preferred day, but we always try to make individual arrangements to suit our guests. The check in time is 1600 and check out is 1000. If there is no same day change over of guests these times are flexible.
Notes on prices:
The apartment will be professionally cleaned and made ready for your arrival.
Our Caretakers at Roda will meet you on arrival and familiarize you with the apartment and how everything works.
Our Caretaker can also do a mid-stay change of towels and bedlinnen for a small fee or deliver sheets and towels to the apartment if you prefer to change yourself.
Please note that for hygienic reasons we do not supply beach towels.

- Notes on accommodation: A travel cot with bedding and a high chair can be rented if guests have young children . We can also arrange for bicycles hire. Bikes can be delivered to the flat and can be securely stored in the enclosed rear patio. Unfortunately we do not allow pets for allergy reason Outside: There are two private tiled patios; the first fully enclosed and shaded, and the second in the front or sunny south side of the apartment. In the front patio there is a large stylish glass topped patio dining table, with 6 comfortable chairs. This large patio overlooks the beautiful and well-maintained communal garden and large swimming pool (with adjacent baby pool), which are only open to residents in the flats surrounding it. The rear patio serves as the main entrance to the property and the gate is lockable, thus serving as a perfect place to store golfing equipment or bikes. There are also 3 lightweight sun loungers available for use which can easily be carried over to the pool area. Utility Room: Utility room off the rear patio with washing machine, drying rack, iron and ironing board. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Towels and bed linen are included. Please note beach towels are not included. Both the apartment and patios will be cleaned before arrival and we can arrange for midstay cleaning if you are staying longer than a week.
