About the Owner
Higher House Farm is home to Marilyn and Richard Tucker and our two teenage children. It is a real working farm - our family have lived in the area since 1720 - keeping cattle and sheep and growing cereals. Marilyn also runs two camping sites and a Caravan Club Certificated Location in the Village. She is an active member of the Parish Community Hall Committee and Richard is the Captain of the Village Pub's Euchre Team.
From the Owner
“We moved into the farmhouse in 2010 when Richard's parents reached retirement age and moved out. Previously we lived in a house closer to the village centre. The Village has a relaxed feel about it which is contagious. The idyllic coast and countryside , with rugged cliffs and sandy coves, is waiting to be explored. It is a fantastic place to have to work!”
