From the Owner
“I had always loved Trastevere, a picturesque corner in the heart of Rome, with it's bars, bohemian galleries, family run restaurants and traditional old timers. Residence La Scala has a very interesting history, and I would often stroll past it on my lazy walks through this charming area. So when the house finally came on the market unexpectedly, we decided to make an offer which was accepted! We've never looked back. It's special. Love the house, the street, the ambience, and hope you do too.”

From the Owner
“Residence La Scala is in the centre of Trastevere, one of the most charming areas of Rome. The neighbourhood abounds in history, traditional restaurants, workshops and cafes. It is in a very quaint quiet street. However, if you want nightlife, it is no more than a short stroll away. The street is quiet and quintessentially Roman. You can walk to the historical icons of Rome, including Vatican City, or you catch one of many buses. Its location is ideal and it is well serviced by public transport. The house is spacious, quiet and full of light. It has its own private entrance with a small patio where you can sip your coffee or apertivo and watch the world go by.”
