2 cottages, Tranquil & Serene Location Surrounded By The Highlands Of Scotland & The Lapping Sounds of Loch Rannoch

This 7 acre property is situated on the south shore of Loch Rannoch and has a little jetty and private beach within a magnificent Highland setting. There are 2 cottages, dating back to the 1760’s, built from local stone. Each cottage is separate from the other, has their own entrance and is completely self-contained. Pitlochry and Aberfeldy are the nearest towns offering a wide variety of outdoor pursuits, craft and tourist attractions. Enthusiasts of hiking, rambling, photography, bird watching and fishing will be spoilt by the beauty and variety of this highland retreat. Both cottages have either an open fire or woodburning stove in the living rooms. At the bottom of the garden is our little beach on the shore of Loch Rannoch where you can swim, fish canoe, windsurf etc. Why not organise a special family occasion or a large get together by using both cottages and make it a holiday to remember. Dogs are most welcome and will love splashing in the Loch!

Gravel cottage is a large cottage which sleeps 8 people (10 if using sofa bed).There are 2 bathrooms, a kitchen with an eating area and a living room with an open fire.

This lovely cottage is situated within our gorgeous gardens and just a few steps to our little beach on the shore of Loch Rannoch. Why not organise a special family occasion or a large get together by using both cottages and make it a holiday to remember forever.

Coast/Beach:

It is a few steps to the bottom of our garden where we have a couple of small private beaches and jetty with full fishing rights from the property.

Travel:

A car is essential to get to the property and to local towns but is not needed for the many walks and cycle rides in the area.

Distances:

Kinloch Rannoch, which is the local village, is 8 miles from the cottages and Pitlochry & Aberfeldy are both equidistant of approx 27 miles.

Further Details:

There is a local Country Store in the village which has a comprehensive supply of groceries and essentials. There is also a Post Office as well as a Cafe "Treats" which has a small souvenir shop and art gallery.

Bookings may be emailed or telephoned through to Pammy McNaughton at pammy.mac@ntlworld.com or 07866 777785.
A booking is confirmed when 50% of the total cost is received. An additional £100 deposit is required and this will be returned 7 days after departure. The balance of the payment is required 8 weeks before arrival.

Changeover Day:
Our weekly lets are Friday to Friday.
We also have short stay lets Fridays - Mondays as well as Mondays - Fridays -these are available upon request.

Outside: There is a stone built BBQ on the patio overlooking the Loch, which you are welcome to use …. All we ask is that you clean it after each use. Pets are also welcome, provided they are well behaved and all mess is cleaned up. All cottages enjoy fishing rights of the Loch from the property.
