Tregarthen Cottage is a newly renovated 2 bedroom holiday cottage offering modern and comfortable accommodation, finished to a very high standard. The property offers a large patio area ideal for dining alfresco with steps down to it's own large lawned garden. There is ample parking with ease of access to all village amenities, including two pubs, post office and a local shop. Picturesque Perranuthnoe Beach is a short walk away where you will also find and the award winning Victoria Inn restaurant. Marazion a true holiday hotspot is just over 1 mile away, with its stunning beaches and breathtaking scenery and the ever popular St Michaels Mount to hand, a must to visit when in Cornwall. The Market Town of Penzance is 4 miles away, with its promenade and variety of places to eat/drink. St Ives another neighbouring town 6/7 miles away, a real surfers destination, a true jewel in Cornwall's crown with its variety of shops,restaurants/bars/beaches and outstanding scenery.

About the Owner

We bought Tregarthen back in December 2011 to provide us with a great family home for our 3 children to grow up in. Having completed the main house and moved in we have just finished renovating Tregarthen Cottage. We have a history of successful letting experience and are keen to provide our guests with a tranquil and comfortable stay which we are confident our holiday cottage will provide.

Superb cottage, superb location.

We were delighted to stay in Tregarthen Cottage for a week. The cottage is very well equipped with every accessory you will need and more. Mark & Paula have made this cottage so comfortable and welcoming. They are the ideal hosts as they can be available if required but you also have your own privacy to enjoy the facilities. The location of the cottage is ideal. The coastal path is a short distance away. We walked many miles on this beautiful stretch of the Cornish coast and returned to the cottage satisfyingly tired. There are 2 good pubs in the village so we could enjoy a few bevvies and a good meal and walk back to the cottage. We had a marvelous time. Thank you Paula & Mark, I'm sure we will return.

Outstanding accommodation

Stayed at this lovely cottage for one week with our family, four adults and a baby.The property met with all our requirements and was done to a very high standard also the grounds, garden and patio are very spacious and in a beautiful quiet location.Ideally situated in a lovely village location, with the coast and all attractions within easy access.

A big thanks to our hosts Paula and Mark for a lovely stay and a repeat visit a definite.

Amazing property!

We have just arrived home after a lovely stay. This was by far the best property we have ever stayed at. Cleaned and presented very well. The garden was well maintained and surroundings were quiet and secure. We were made to feel welcome and at home.

The furnishings are of a very high standard and the bath and shower were perfect, The best holiday home we have ever stayed in.

The cottage is centrally located and perfect for visiting the local towns, attractions and beach.

We would recommend this property to anyone looking for a great holiday with a luxury cottage, great for all the family.

Great place, loveley hosts / Absolute Empfehlung

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Urlaub in diesem großartig und liebevoll ausgestatteten Cottage. Wir wurden überaus freundlich empfangen, auf dem Esstisch stand ein leckerer Kuchen, Tee, Milch. Prima, um in Ruhe anzukommen.

In der perfekt ausgestatteten Küche gab es alles, was man so braucht. Sogar eine Waschmaschinen/Trockner-Kombi!

Goldsithney ist zudem der ideale Startpunkt, um interessante Plätze in ganz Cornwall aufzusuchen. Wunderbar ruhig gelegen und dennoch ganz nah am Strand.

Das Cottage findet sich in zweiter Reihe abseits der Straße, wunderbar verborgen. Also hat man viel Privatspäre, um sich ungestört ganz entspannt im zugehören Garten mit Patio aufzuhalten und am Abend z.B. zu grillen.

Danke Paula und Mark, wir möchten wiederkommen!

Just Perfect

This is a great cottage! Everything is finished to a high standard. Clean, comfortable rooms, full bath and over bath shower, well equipped kitchen and all mod cons (yes you're on holiday but you will use that washing machine and hoover!), beautiful gardens and Mark and Paula's own children are lovely and enjoy meeting new residents of the cottage and making friends with the children (our two young daughters completely fell in love with them).

Paula and Mark are the most accommodating owners aswel - from the welcome tray on arrival (tea, coffee, juice, milk and two types of gorgeous cake!) to restaurant, pub, beach and other attraction recommendation, we would never have found Sennan Cove or tried the Coach and Horses near Praa Sands if Mark hadn't suggested them and would have been seriously missing out!

The cottage is secure aswel, being hidden up a private road.

We have booked again for the end of the year and are looking forward to it almost as much as Christmas!

Goldsithney is a warm village and offers a great location with ease of access to many neighbouring towns. There is Perranuthnoe beach within walking distance, Marazion is located just over a mile from the village which offers St Michaels Mount, a must for visitors to Cornwall. Both Penzance and St Ives are a short car journey away. There are many other local beaches available and many amenities to be enjoyed. We find Goldsithney a superb location and a wonderful environment to raise a family.

The property is within walking distance of Perranuthnoe Beach and would take approximately 20 minutes by foot. Perranuthnoe is a picturesque beach and child friendly.
