About the Owner

We moved from the busyness of Puerto Banus having fallen in love with the relaxing atmosphere of La Cala de Mijas. Our holidays are now the true meaning of a holiday. The town is a great town in both summer and winter. If we don't want to venture too far, we have a great row of bars and restaurants beside the complex.

We also have Lidl supermarket beside us if we want to have a relaxing night in and chill out on the private terrace.

Fantastic apartment

We have just returned from a weeks holiday with our 1 year old & had the most fantastic time

This apartment is the best we have ever stayed in as has everything you need & in a great location near to la Cala & it's bars, restaurants & beautiful beaches

A supermarket is only 2 minutes away

Pool area is lovely & just spotless

Chrissie who looks after the apartment & hands over the keys is an absolute star & so helpful

Can't wait until our next visit !!!

Well appointed apartment

Stayed here for two weeks. Apartment is comfortable and the complex is excellent. Large pool in landscaped gardens, well kept and never crowded. Friendly guests. It was very clean, had all mod cons. Met on arrival . Easy booking, would return again. Beside Lidl supermarket, ten mins to beach and centre. Beautiful village with excellent restaurants.

Came home from La Cala on Monday evening after staying in this beautiful apartment for one week. This is our ninth year holidaying here but the first time we have stayed in this apartment. It is everything the owner says and more. This apartment is spotlessly clean, has all that you need in a home and I would recommend it to anyone who wants a relaxing holiday with all the comforts of home. As I am writing this review my husband is emailing the owner to book our stay for next year and I can't wait. Wonderful apartment in a fantastic place, thank you for making us feel so welcome. Would definitely recommend it.

excellent apartment

Lovely apartment in a quiet location but close to all La Cala has to offer.

I would have no problem recommending this apartment which had everything we could have wished for from beach chairs to a handy Lidl just across the road,

Had a wonderful week at this lovely apartment. Within easy reach of everything - supermarket, beach, Mijas town and buses nearby to Fuengirola/ Marbella. Weather was very kind too

Owner was so helpful and was very quick to respond to emails as were the couple who look after the apartment.

We will definitely be back!!

Everything you could need and more.....

Well the title says it all really, a beautifully clean and well presented apartment with quality furnishings and all the little extras that really make the difference. Lots of space for four people and the lovely outside area where you can sit, cook a steak on the grill and enjoy a drink on those evenings when you cant be bothered moving. The pool area and grounds are really well kept and clean and never overcrowded. Lidl over the road for shopping and a short walk further on takes you to La Cala with the beaches, bars and restaurants. It was a refreshing change not to be hassled by restaurants and bar staff to try their wares, really relaxed and chilled out. The beach is beautiful with a nice breeze in high season. Would definitely come back to La Cala and this apartment and Anne the owner made things stressless in terms of advice and help throughout the booking.

From the Owner

We bought the property for the location. The apartment is within walking distance of everything in La Cala de Mijas. It is also very convenient for the airport. We usually get the train direct from the airport to Fuengirola and then the bus (220) from outside the train station. The bus leaves us beside the complex at the stop beside Lidl supermarket. On the odd occasion we get a taxi from Fuengirola train station.

Activity and Interests

Car: not necessary


8 minute walking distance to beautiful blug flag sandy beach.


Malaga Airport 25 minutes. All amenities within walking distance so car not essential.

It is also possible to get a train from Malaga Airport to Fuengerola at very small cost and a taxi from station to La cala.

A taxi can also be arranged for arrival/departure.


Nearest beach - 8 minutes walk.

Bars/Restaurants 100 meters.

Places of interest - La Cala town and Promenade, Selwo World, Fuengerola Zoo, Tivoli World (Benalmadena), water park in Fuengerola.

Marbella and Puerto Banus.

Further Details:

Lidl supermarket adjacent to apartment complex.

Banks, Pharmacy, Taxi Rank, Restaurants, Bars, Hairdressers, Internet Cafe, Tobacco Shop, Petrol Station, Car Hire and other supermarkets are all located in La Cala town less than 10 minutes walk from apartment.
