This property is a late 19th century Victorian built mid terrace house which has been beautifully renovated and tastefully furnished into a holiday home. It has free on street parking outside of the property. It is ideally located just outside York city centre but within easy reach and only a 15 minute walk of the many attractions, bars, cafes and restaurants. Located close by and within a 5 minutes walk are pubs, takeaways, shops and a supermarket. The racecourse and designer shopping outlet are within a 10 minute drive. Both the North York Moors and the Yorkshire Dales are within easy reach. Welcome Hamper.

5 'girls' on a chill out november weekend.

We had a really great time:-

The house, beds & linens, bathroom & towels and all facilities were clean, well maintained and fabulous.

The location,as advertised, was good - close to the attractions but quiet and peaceful at night.

We really enjoyed the Chinese takeaway from The Happy Wok and tried several pubs recommended in the "welcome" book ( which was very informative). The local supermarket, only 2 minutes away was well stocked and very reasonably priced.

This is an ideal location for a family wanting to visit York.

Our only minor upset/comment is that as 5 adults there was only seating for 4 (we couldn't fit in the highchair!!) but it made an interesting game of "musical chairs".

Lovely house, really enjoyed

The house is a well-presented 2 bedroom property, which was ideal for my partner and I, along with our 9 month old son. The property owner was prompt and clear in communication and we were really glad we stayed. The place is two minutes' walk from a local Sainsbury's and about a 15 minute walk into the city walls. We'll definitely be booking again when we come back to York.

Great location for exploring York.

Lovely little property on the outskirts of central York. The property is well equipped with everything you may need, clean and tidy. The owners are very friendly and helpful, communication was excellent. We enjoyed our stay very much and hope to return again soon.
