White Pearl Beach 1 is 100m from the beach being an enclosed oval gated development in a peaceful location. It is a few minutes walk from the Don Carlos hotel, Nikki Beach Club, shops banks and restaurants. It is 5 minutes drive to the Santa Maria golf club and there are tennis and water sports within easy walking distance. The beach is a long safe bathing beach with golden sand, unspoilt by development with restaurants and sunbeds at both ends. The floral gardens are outstanding with mature palms and trees providing shade and the three pools with sun loungers and parasols are great for relaxing. The adult pool is heated in the cooler months. The apartments have marble floors throughout and are air-conditioned. They are fully equipped with internet TV with BBC/ ITV/ Sky and Wifi. The complex is gated with 24 hour security and CCTV and there is underground parking.

Fantastic location for pools and beach

Excellent location within beautiful, well-maintained complex. Reach the pools within a few seconds. Heated pool is a massive bonus, especially for children swimming in slightly cooler months.
Very safe complex with 24-hour security.
Two lovely beaches with beach clubs, restaurants, facilities, etc a five minute walk away.
Grocery shops within five-ten minute walk. You don't need a hire car. We've been to this area for several years now, and have found this appartment and location the best so far. In future years we'd consider hiring a car to do more activities like golf, water park, zoo/animal attractions, etc. For a family with young children, or couples wanting to relax by the sea or pool, a car isn't essential.

Two bathrooms with baths and showers - great for cleaning off after trips to beach and pool.
Dishwasher, washer, dryer, plenty of space for clothes. Owners provided travel cot at no extra charge. There are two sofa beds, so convenient for sleeping a family (we are two adults, two children and a toddler). Easily space for a baby or child in dressing area, lounge or master bedroom.
As previous reviewers have mentioned, it is probably the most self-catering place you will have stayed! Yes, it would be helpful to have a few cleaning products in the property and basic cooking essentials. Had my baby still been crawling, I would have needed to clean the floor on arrival.
Not 100% wheelchair friendly. There are a few steps (this was manageable with a pushchair).
Having said this, I feel the benefits of the property far outweigh this comparatively small inconvenience. We would stay here again and recommend this appartment to our family and friends. It is useful to know beforehand that you need to bring/buy: hairdryer, basic cooking and cleaning products, a few dishwasher and laundry tablets, extra linens, including tea towels.

We have just returned from a 10 day stay at this apartment in Elviria Marbella. The area was lovely with beach just a few minutes walk from apartment and with supermarket, bars and restaurants all within close proximity.
The booking was made simple by the owners who were quick to respond to queries and were generous to allow a late check out on day of departure. The apartment is spacious and quiet. However, we could not write this review without being honest about the cleanliness and general maintenance of the apartment. On arrival we found a dying cockroach on the kitchen work surface ( traps had been placed about the kitchen, one on the kitchen work surface). This was an immediate off put and our first trip out was to purchase disinfectant from supermarket so that we could clean all surfaces. We later found a live cockroach in the bathroom. The apartment appeared grubby and tired with much need of attention. This is such a shame as the apartment itself is in lovely grounds with mature gardens and lovely bird life. We would return to the area but not to this apartment.
In view of this, we have given this apartment a generous 3 stars.
Lovely location, poor accommodation that did not live upto expectations.
How do we start to say how we felt about our holiday in this apartment? Disappointed is a good adjective to describe our feelings on getting to know the accommodation. The information book was no where to be seen, despite the owner emailing us to suggest we looked in drawers so we made our own way on where and how things worked. The apartment had a number of key areas that we put under the disappointed heading. The main bath side panel was damaged and was gaffer taped up and had been for some time....the cupboard under the adjacent sink was mouldy and unusable. Drawers in the main bedroom were broken and a chair in the same bedroom was held together with yet more tape. The boiler had a pipe leak that required a bucket to be regularly emptied. All in all a general lack of feeling it was clean and well looked after......maybe the total lack of basic cleaning materials made this more difficult...no toilet rolls, wiping cloths or cleaning materials etc. If we are being picky it was not the standard we expected for the money we paid for the week or have experienced with other companies operating in the same area. Would we return? Yes to the area and the White Pearl 1, as it is everything we wanted. Sadly not to the apartment, sorry to give a negative review, it just didn't meet or expectations. Would we recommend this accommodation to our friends? No.
The area is beautiful and the grounds and the pool areas were well maintained which gave us the relaxing holiday we had hoped for. There are some very very good restaurants within walking distance and to choose the best would be doing an injustice to the others. The beach is just a short walk away with space for everyone, paddle boarding etc are available. Supermarkets were available within about a 10-15 minute walk away.
The apartment was clean, comfortable and perfectly located for the beach and days out to Marbella and surrounding area. The pre-holiday arrangements were efficient and easy. The apartment is cleverly set in private, well planted and secure grounds and has the good quality fixtures and equipment of a real home.
A perfect property in a perfect position
We had a very enjoyable holiday as the property was well looked after, and its position re the swimming pools and the beach was amazing.
The lovely beach was only a two minute walk away and to 5/6 very good beach restaurants

Activity and Interests
100 metres from the complex is Playa Perla Blanca, white fine sand. It is a long beach and unspoilt with a restaurant/hammacas at both ends. It is open for long walks and further along there are water sports and restaurants.
Malaga airport is 45 minutes by car. There is also a €5 airport bus to Marbella and a €20 taxi to Elviria. There are shops and restaurants within a short walk as also are tennis courts and water sports. The well known Nikki Beach Club is a few minutes walk

- Notes on accommodation: Outside: The mature tropical gardens are exceptional and there are three pools one of which is heated. The cummunal gardens and pool area have sunbeds and sunshades and there are loungers in the apartments.
