A luxury 2 bedroom apartment located on the 2nd floor in the beautiful resort situated at the foothills of a mountain range and close to a nature reserve. The apartment is spacious, with large patio with panoramic views of the golf course, mountain range, gardens & pools with all day sunshine guaranteed. Access to communal gardens and swimming pools, dedicated parking spaces and lots of children play areas, sports and exercise facilities as well as tennis and paddle courts. San Javier airport is just 25 minutes away, the new Corvera international airport 10 mins away. The stunning beaches of the Mar Menor & the Mediterranean are just 25 minutes drive, the cultural city centre of Murcia, with it's 14th century cathedral 15 min away and Cartagena the ancient architecture harbour 30 min away. Within walking distance of the traditional Spanish village of Corvera (restaurants, cafes, small supermarkets and good traditional market on Sundays offering tasty local produce). Guided tours with very experienced and professional multilingual guides can be arranged either privately or in a group. Due to some issues the golf course is now closed. You will need to use alternative golf courses in the area which are within 15 minutes drive.

2nd floor apartment with views to the golf course and gardens has both integral air-conditioning and central heating. With 2 double bedrooms, main bedroom has patio doors to the terrace. All have twin beds which can link together to provide king size beds and easily accommodate 4 people. Each room has built in wardrobes, bedside drawers and also a safe. Travel cot and high chair can become also available. En-suite bathroom has bath with shower, handbasin with fitted drawers, toilet. Second bathroom has walk-in shower, handbasin and toilet. Fully equipped kitchen with oven, hob, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, microwave, filter coffee maker and toaster, washing machine and iron/ironing board. Spacious lounge with wide patio doors opening onto patio, furnished with a sofa and an armchair, flat screen TV and DVD, coffee table, extending dining table and chairs. The large terrace has a large patio set of a table with four chairs. A golf club trolley could be available.

We are a couple working hard in the UK, looking for relaxing holidays in a warm climate away from it all. Not too far from retirement so looking for a "place in the sun" to stay for extended holidays when we retire with the rest of the family using the apartment. We were one of the first to buy so we feel we got the best choice of the apartments available. We go several times every year as a family and feel right at home as soon as the key opens the door. The apartment being furnished to a very high standard makes you feel spoilt as much as a good hotel would, that's what we wanted when we bought here.

Cela fait deux années que je loue cet appartement. Cette année, j'y retourne à deux reprises ( juillet et fin septembre ).

Localisation précise - bien entretenue - accueil par société service présente sur place - j'ai déjà recommandé cette location - le village de CORVERA, situé à 2 km, a de bons petits restaurants à des prix corrects. C'est devenu ma destination annuelle que j'apprécie pour le calme, la simplicité en clair pour passer de bonnes vacances de détente avec une belle piscine communautaire dont nous profitons pleinement.

This area is so peaceful and is still very Spanish, being untouched by the worst excesses of tourism. Corvera is centrally placed and close to two coastlines, a mountain range and several historic cities. It is close to two airports (Alicante - 1 hour; Murcia - 30 mins) and the Murcia airport is soon to be opened to a location only 10 mins from the resort which is not in the flight path The resort is great for a relaxing, reinvigorate break with so many opportunities to get exercise by walking, swimming, biking and playing golf amongst others. We wanted somewhere to relax & totally chill out, but somewhere that wasn't too far away from the outside world. Holidays have been great, getting to explore new places each time we go out there. It is very functional & is exactly as we had hoped.

25-30 minutes to the beautiful beaches of the Mar Menor, Catragena and the Mediterranean.


San Javier airport is 39 km approx 30 mins drive, Alicante airport is 95km approx 1 hr drive. However, Corvera airport is due to open sometime in 2014, this will be only 7km/10 mins drive away. Car hire is recommended, though regular bus services are available every day.

Corvera village is 15min walking distance with plenty of shops and tapas bars. Immediately outside of the golf resort is the beautiful Sierra de Carrascoy, with olive, lemon, orange and almond trees it is brilliant for walking and biking! The city of Murcia, 20km/15 min drive, was founded on the site of a Roman colony, with its beautiful Baroque Cathedral, Almudi Palace, the castle of Monteagudo a fortress from the 11th c. The port of Cartagena is 38km/30min drive, has a Roman amphitheatre.

Further Details:

The resort has a new clubhouse, a Golf Academy and driving range. Please note that currently there are some problems with the golf course which is now closed and you will have to use other golf courses in the area. There is a Spanish bar (Miguel's bar) just outside the resort next to the riding school. Two well equipped horse riding centres are close by. Corvera village has 3 bank cash machines, two supermarkets, butcher, fishmonger, pharmacy and other shops. There are numerous Tapas bars and restaurants. Every Sunday morning there is a market in the centre. There are various large shopping centres from 15-30 km drive away.

Worth visiting also is Alhama de Murcia. With its Moorish castle, Roman spas and beautiful church.

Near Totana, is the medieval village of Aledo with its Moorish tower and church on a rocky promontory La Santa monastery. Sierra Espuna is in this area, which is very popular with it's hiking and mountain-biking trails.

The property is great. Spacious, airy, peaceful & quiet. We are very lucky that we picked south facing spot that have sun all day long and a cool breeze - both at the side of the property & the front in the morning, afternoon & evening. Sunbathing heaven. The apartment has stunning views of the Mountains, the golf course, gardens, pools and countryside from the front balcony. Beaches are close about 25mins drive, great if you want to spend a day or two there. Corvera has loads of countryside great for walking, golfing, biking, and much more including tennis and basketball. The mountains to the north offer a great backdrop to this rustic Spanish area. Fantastic place to come if you want golf, food and outside activities right on your door step.
