Coto Real is a gated development just 500m from the Port of Duquesa. This 3 bed penthouse apartment offers stylish accomodation on the top floor of the front block. There is private parking and a lift direct to the apartment door. There is a huge terrace accessible from the patio doors which run the length of the lounge allowing lots of light into the apartment. The terrace can also be reached directly from the master bedroom. 2 shared pools, one for children. Glorious views across the golf course down to the sea. Further terrace to the rear of the apartment and balconies to the other bedrooms.

Absolutely superb.

They say the camera never lies, but as we all know it can, however on this occasion, we can not fault the description.

We travel four to six times a year to this very beautiful part of the Costa Del Sol, which has so much to offer to all alike, but we can honestly say having stopped many places over the years, this apartment, together with the owner Sheena and her staff, by far exceeded our expectations.

There is simply nothing to criticize.

BRILLIANT - Don't just take our word for it experience it for yourselves.

Just returned from a fabulous week in this wonderful apartment. 3 good size bedrooms & modern big bathrooms. The kitchen was very well equipped & the lounge area huge. Tastefully decorated throughout & spotlessly clean. Really huge outside space perfect to relax in.

The communal pool fabulous & only seconds from the front door.

Ideally located for exploring the coast line & just a 15 minute stroll into the port.

Booking easy & the owner Sheena & the management team in Spain could not have been more helpful. Can't wait to return 😀😀

Excellent apartment

Stayed two weeks in summer 2013 and repeated again this summer, family of two kids and four adults. The owner and caretakers are great, even left some lollies in the freezer for the kids. The apartment is clean and very spacious, enough to cater for all 6 of us comfortably. It's fully equipped with everything that you may need to make your stay an enjoyable one.

The complex is excellent and very safe for kids, it's nice and relaxed yet it's just a few minutes walk from the town of Sabinillas. The pool area is catered with sun umbrellas and sun lounges free of charges. The kids pool is 40cm deep making it very safe and the adults pool goes from 140cm to over 200cm.

In Duquesa you'll find all types of bars restaurants ranging from Morrocan to Thai and has an excellent atmosphere every night. Sabinillas is a more typical Spanish coastal town and you'll find great sea food. Estepona is a 10 minutes drive and Puerto Banus a further 10 minutes away. Renting a car is highly recommended.

Activity and Interests

Coast/Beach:

Puerto de la Duquesa is a beautiful port and the heart of the community. There are many restaurants to choose from for morning coffee to an evening out overlooking the boats in the harbour.The walk down to the beautiful long uncluttered beach takes approx 15 mins a little longer coming back up. Sabinillas is the local town with shops, supermarkets restaurants and clean beach also approx 15 mins.

Travel:

Gibraltar is the nearest airport and takes approx 25 minutes, taxi fare is approx 90Euros return. Malaga is approx an hour. Jerez will take approx 11/2 hours. We can help you with organising arrival/departure transport if you require it and can advise on car hire too.

Distances:

Duquesa is a perfect base for exploring the area Along the coast you have Estepona 20 min drive, Puerto Banus 30 min drive Marbella and Malaga a little further. In the other direction is Gibraltar for duty free shops and Barbary Apes and boats to Morocco (Don't forget your passports). Inland there is the beautiful white village of Casares approx 20 min drive, with Rhonda and Grenada a day trip away.

Further Details:

Duquesa itself has a wide variety of bars and restaurants with a few shops. There are chiringuitos (beach bars) along the beach and each one holds a different charm. The fish is always excellent. Don't limit yourself to the Marina if you walk to the castle and beyond there are some amazing fish restaurants in the old town.The Marina is always full of boats and either side of the Marina are long blue flag sandy beaches. Sabinillas is a more lively Spanish town with a long promenade, not a tourist destination so more traditional, the fisherman still sell their daily catch to the restaurants and you can often see them bring their catch in. From the apartment you can walk to both and en route to Sabinillas is Mercadona supermarket a 10 min walk away. If you are holidaying in June don't miss the San Juan festival with it's huge bonfire and fireworks. There are plenty of markets to go to, in the apartment there is a visitor book detailing all the local information. A short walk away there is also a new park area with fitness machines and fountains, it stays open quite late as it's cooler for the children. There are also many play areas along Sabinillas beach front so you can soak up the atmosphere and have a drink whilst watching your children play. You can be sure of being spoilt for choice.

There is also a deposit against breakages etc of £200 which will be returned to you within 10 days of departure pending report from our agents inspection. Long term let considered.

English speaking assistance locally. Please note children must be supervised at all times on the terrace as the wooden beams can be climbed on and have gaps between. Sorry No Pets. No Smoking in the apartment. Outside: There are 2 shared pools, one small one for children and a much bigger and deeper one for adults. There is a toilet and shower block poolside. the complex has many more pools which you can explore should you wish to. There is a paddle tennis court which can be booked at the security gate. If you wish to rent our paddle bats please ask for details. Utility Room: Washing machine and Boiler. Clothes Drying Rack. Ironing board. Mop and Bucket. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Towels and linen are included in the price apart from beach towels which we ask you to provide for yourselves. Apartment towels are not to be used for the pool or the beach. If you are staying longer than a week extra towels and bedding will be left out. Other: Table & Chairs on the balcony along with loungers (not for pool use & subject to availability as previously have found them broken)
