3-bedroom apartment in Port-Vendres, close to Collioures. Own parking in building. Peaceful, terrace views of surrounding hills. Several beaches within 15 minutes' drive.

Situated in this historic Art Deco wharf building, which was tastefully converted into residential apartments in 2006. Secure parking within the building, with lift access to the apartment. Open plan living/dining area with modern appliances. Sun terrace facing South, with views of the port and the surrounding hills. Stairs leading to three bedrooms and bathroom/WC.

Sheets and towels can be rented at 30 Euros per bed, by arrangement with our agent.

Short walk from the port and local life. Shuttle bus to historic Collioures and short drive to the beautiful beaches at Argelès-sur-Mer.

About Mathew

We are a family living in England, but with strong French roots. Many of our relatives are French, and several of our cousins live in the Languedoc-Roussillon region.

Why Mathew chose Pyrenees-Orientales Coast

We have been visiting the Languedoc-Roussillon region for many years, as several of our family live here, and we love to spend time in the area. We discovered Port-Vendres about 10 years ago, and we chose to buy here because it has a unique feel, and it is an interesting place to stay at any time of year (unlike some of the other resorts which seem to shut down outside of the Summer season.)

What makes this apartment unique

We love the fact that the apartment is big enough for the whole family, and that we have our own dedicated parking space inside the building (especially during the Summer season, when the area is at its busiest).

We also love that fact that the apartment is quiet, even though we are only two minutes walk from the boats in the port.

Outside: 2 minutes' walk to the port, with pleasure boats, small parade of restaurants and shops, children’s playground and park. 10 minutes walk to small local beach. 5 minute drive or shuttle bus to Collioures, 15 minutes to perfect sandy beaches at Argelès-sur-Mer.

Clean, modern apartment, ideal location

Thank you to the owner Mathew for helping us with the flexible booking dates. Also, thank you to Eve for greeting us on arrival and showing us around the apartment. It was good to know that someone local was available to help with any problems.

The apartment was well furnished and had everything we needed. The dishwasher and air conditioning were added bonuses.

The apartment was ideally located with easy walking access to the supermarket, bakers and restaurants and we particularly enjoyed the view from the terrace, overlooking the harbour. Car parking space was easy to access, and useful as on street parking was difficult to find.

We would certainly recommend this property to friends and family.

Modern apartment, well appointed, convenient base

The apartment is clean, modern and has everything you might need for a stay in Port Vendres. We liked the balcony with views across the town to the hills. Port Vendres has lots of bars and restaurants and provided a calmer alternative base to the busier resorts like Collioure, which is only 5 minutes drive away but always absolutely rammed with tourists!

Great position and modern comforts

This maisonette is positioned just behind the front row of harbour properties and with steps or a lift down to harbour level, you can quickly and easily get to the harbour restaurants, cafés etc. The local buses offer €1 per journey, so transport to the other towns on the coast is so easy you don't need to get your car out! It was ideal for us for the first break of the year. Don't miss a trip to Collioure!

We are a family of 5 who have travelled from London by car, The apartment was very good and it was better than I thought and better than the pictures, It was clean, the rooms had air conditioning as well as the living room and the bedrooms were a very good size. There was lift available and a very secure private parking which was a bonus. Nice and friendly neighbourhood and great view from the terrace. I would definitely recommend this apartment to a family or single person. We loved our stay here and got all the help we needed. I will definitely rent this apartment for another time.

Splendid place!

Vacationing family of five (two children, wife and mother-in-law) for three weeks. The impression of living is extremely positive! New, modern house with an elevator and a parking spot in the garage (for us it was important because we were traveling by car). Provided that it is not our first trip to the south of France, is one of the best places where we live. Each room has air conditioning, everything you need (and more) in the kitchen, etc. The apartment has a full-sized bathroom, which is surprising considering that before this we had only bathrooms with shower. It is also convenient that the two-storey apartments on the first floor bedrooms, bathroom and toilet and a second living room with balcony and kitchen. Nearby there is a market, supermarket and many small cafes. The only negative is sometimes (depending on the program of entertainment the city) can sound loud music until late. However, noise isolation is good enough for us and the inconvenience of concerts was not. Generally these apartments are very suitable for families with children, lots of space and separate bedrooms. Near bus stop to Perpignan, costs 1 euro. One stop to the beach or 15 minutes on foot. We hope our review will be useful to you, enjoy your stay!
