Myriam & Mathieu welcome you at "L'Atelier". This former framing and painting workshop has been renovated in 2012 and offers a mix of its original "industrial style" with traditional wooden furnishing. Large windows open up into the garden to let plenty of Provence sunshine in. As cycling and hiking enthusiasts, we will have plenty of tips and maps to give you so you can enjoy fully Provence's natural treasures. Myriam is a qualified French teacher, and gives French classes upon request. Mathieu is who runs a wine shop, will guide you through the best wineries of the area.

About the Owner

We are both French lived 10 years in the UK before moving to the south of France in 2007. We owned and ran a gite & chamber d'hôte in Cairanne. The location was fabulous but isolated and having two children, we decided in 2012 to move to Vaison la Romaine giving us access to schools, shops, market...without the hassle of a big city

Very impressive

Beautiful property, very well equipped, we enjoyed our stay very much. Pool very clean, boys wanted to stay in there all the time ! Lovely to be able to walk into town but still feel away from it all. Best holiday we have had abroad in a long time. Thank you !

L'atelier

Hi Mathieu and Myriam

Just a quick line or two to say thanks for a lovely fortnight in the sun.

You have a beautiful house, in a perfect quiet spot, and have made a

great job of converting the old ground floor "atelier". It makes a

great holiday apartment, combining traditional decor with quality

modern fittiings - the open Italian shower area is the best.

We thought Vaison was a picture-postcard town, with lots to see and a

good base for touring around. We found some very nice places to eat

out too - we loved La Bartavelle and Le Brin d'Olivier.

Hope to see you again when in need of some sun!

Heerlijk huis met zwembad in een prachtige plaats

De woning is ruim en voorzien van een woonkeuken met aangrenzend vrij terras. In de tuin is een groot zwembad met ligstoelen. De kamers zijn royaal evenals de bedden. De woning is schoon opgeleverd en is voorzien van alle gemakken. Zowel op het terras bij de keuken als het terras bij het zwembad kun je heerlijk vertoeven, in of uit de zon. De woning ligt op loopafstand bij het prachtige centrum van Vaison la Romaine. In het centrum zijn diverse restaurants en leuke winkeltjes. Fijn dat je niet altijd met de auto op pad hoeft. De eigenaren Myriam en Mathieu zijn aardig en met vragen kun je bij hen terecht. Wij hebben erg genoten van ons verblijf!

Enthousiasmant !

Accueil très sympathique de la part des propriétaires.

Appartement spacieux, bien agencé et lumineux.

L'espace vert tout autour de la piscine est agréable sans oublier le chant des oiseaux.

Situation idéale, au calme tout en étant à 5 minutes à pied du centre ville.

Vaison la Romaine has everything we need (library, cinema, shops, and countryside too) without the hassle of a big city. Having lived in Cairanne (15 kms west) for 5 years, we really appreciate being completely sheltered from the northerly, blustery Mistral
