A fantastic holiday, fantastic house, very well equipped, lots of room for everyone, beds super comfy, lovely pub a few doors away which welcomes children and dogs.cant wait to go again next year.

Fantastic property

Row allan house is a hidden gem in a beautiful rural area, and the house retains its period features. We were very surprised at how spacious the property was and the children loved the attic rooms. The listing description is accurate regarding the lay out and surrounding area. The owners provided excellent customer service from initial enquiries ensuring our stay was home from home and more. This property was definitely value for money and we are more than happy to use again. We would have no reservations about recommending this property to family and friends. The reason we chose row allan house was because I originate from the area and wanted somewhere central to enable us to visit family and many attractions that are available and more importantly it was suitable for large families including children with disabilities.

Beautiful clean sandy beach at St Medans, Monreith

Bird watching Wigtown bay is the largest local nature reserve in Britain.

There is salmon and trout fishing available on the river Bladnoch. The Bladnoch Inn has permits available.

Kirkland farm is situated on the edge of Galloway Forest. Here is the river Penkiln where you can fish on a 1/2 mile beat for salmon or sea trout. There is also a loch which is kept well stocked with brown and rainbow trout.

It is possible to hire boats or join sea fishing parties from the isle of Whithorn. Information about boat hire is posted on the boards in the Steam Packet inn. There is good fishing to be had from the shore from the Isle of Whithorn along to Wigtown bay

Walking The coastal footpath along with many breathtaking walks are all close by

Mountain biking Fantastic down hill course.

Gem rock museum is about 14 mile away,


Several beautiful clean sandy beach all close by.
