Apartment in Quiet Residential complex, recently built. Electric throughout, with Immersion heater for hot water. 5 Minutes walk to Beaches, Port and Restaurants. Meze has two Beaches, which has Safe Swimming with Lifeguard attendants in Summer. Market days in the town square twice per week, and two large Supermarkets as well as plenty of shops. Sailing, Tennis, Cinema, Walking. There are many vineyards and Wineries within a few minutes drive, and plentiful Quayside Restaurants around the Port and more dotted around the town. Meze is situated on the Lac Thau, which is renowned for its Oyster beds.

Excellent relaxing stay

The owner's communication was excellent. The appartment was spotless and well appointed. It felt like a proper home from home, it has everything you need and has a lovely outside terrace to sit in the sun or have your meal outdoors. Very quiet location, with fantastic boulangerie close by for daily bread and croissants. Approx 15 min stroll to beaches and harbour, which are lovely.

Best meal in Meze was at Oscarine.

Cannot recommend too highly.

Very nice apartment with pleasant patio area

The owners kindly added a camping cot to the numerous things available with this apartment. This allowed us to share our week in Meze, this year, with our granddaughter and her parents. Although we were relegated to the sofa bed in the living room, this proved to be extremely comfortable.

There's room and shade for most of the day to comfortably eat outside.

We arrived after the French schools had closed for the summer which meant that the apartment was pleasantly quiet.

It is a short walk to the beaches and the town but as both are lovely, it is well worth the effort.

Do try the boulangerie just outside the complex. As well as bread and croissants the pizzas are delicious.

This was our sixth visit to Meze and this apartment will be one that we would use again in the future.

Meze appartment

We spent a week in Meze and had an excellent time, the hiring of the apartment and the communication with the owner was first class. The apartment was modern, clean and well equipped with a nice outdoor garden space. We were met on arrival and shown around the accommodation. There are many restaurants around the harbour area that serve a good selection of food (especially the sea food) that is approximately a 10 minute walk away. This was our first time in this area and we spent a bit of time exploring the surrounding area visiting Montpellier, Sete, Marsellen as well as a boat trip to see the oyster and mussel beds in the lagoon. We were there in mid August and every place we visited seemed to have a festival, so although it was busy it was also entertaining. This area is well worth a visit and I would recommend this apartment.

Apartment Mèze

Lovely apartment modern, clean and well equipped. Within easy reach of local village, 10 minute walk to the sea front. Disabled access was good as we had someone using a wheelchair. Mèze is a lovely village with good seafront restaurants a wonderful market and safe clean beaches. Would recommend this apartment. The owners were helpful and friendly, we would consider using again.

Apartment in Meze

This modern apartment in a secure location lived up to its listing description. It was clean, well appointed, light and airy. A patisserie 2 minutes walk away was an added bonus for a coffee or fresh bread.

The apartment is within easy walking distance of the local harbour in Meze which is an attractive small town with a good choice of shopping and a super local market.

The arrangements for taking over the apartment were excellent. The owners and their local contact provided great customer care and support.

We would be more than happy to rent this apartment again in the future and would have no hesitation to recommend it to friends and family.

Meze is on the Lac Thau, which runs alongside the Mediterranean sea. There are two beaches either side of the Port, the nearest being a 5 minute walk. The Mediterranean Sea is about 20 minutes drive around Lac Thau.


Airports driving time. Bezier 30 minutes. Carcassonne 1hour 20 minutes. Perpignan 1 hour 30 min. Rodez 2 hours 30 minutes. Girona (Spain) 2 hours 45 minutes.

Nearest mainline railway is Sete or Agde

Bus services - 2 bus routes from Meze.


Driving - Sete 20 mins, Montpellier 30 mins, Bezier 30 mins, Agde 20 mins
