House, Croyde, North Devon - Peaceful Location, Ideal Home For A Family Holiday

Situated on a quiet lane, just off the centre of Croyde village and its amenities, Sea Whisper is a lovely family property with a delightful large enclosed garden. Generous in size, furnished and equipped to a very good standard with 6 bedrooms (sleeps 10-12), 2 bathrooms and shower room. The entrance porch and hallway lead to an open plan seating/living /dining room and kitchen with patio doors to the garden and sun terrace. There is a second sitting/family room with ample seating, TV & satellite and countryside views. Wi-fi is available. The rear garden has a raised decking area providing a quiet spot to read and relax. There is ample parking area for the house - max. 4 cars. An outdoor shower can be found in the rear garden to wash off the sand and other beach paraphernalia. There is an additional smaller living/den area with Tv/Wii console. Full week bookings and families only.

About K Dore

My husband grew up in Devon and spent many childhood summers in Croyde, camping and surfing. When we first met we would drive from London to spend many weekends there enjoying the beautiful beach, surfing, walking and the village pubs and restaurants. We spent the week before getting married relaxing in the dunes (wedding dress in box in back of the car). Work has taken us to USA but we continue to use the property on a regular basis and invite family and friends to enjoy the house and the beautiful surrounding coastal area.

Large family home with enclosed garden. Unfortunately cannot accept any hen/stag parties. Strictly no smoking on the property, no candles due to fire regulations and no pets. The property is cleaned, all linen replaced on changeover day. If the rental period is for more than one week, an additional clean can be requested at extra cost. No towels provided but can be arranged in advance at extra cost. Cot and high chair available. Wi fi provided free of charge. If interested Xmas/New Year - please contact owner

Great house, brill location

The setting of the house is just beautiful. The house itself has all the amenities you could ever need and was very spacious for our multi generational family holiday (ages 2 1/2 - 77 1/2!). Obviously croyde itself is fab. We have had some great days out on the beach and local area.

Great house in a lovely location

We had a fantastic time in this great house, lots of room even when we had a couple of family's there for the weekend everyone could find their own space and a nice big garden for the kids, all at the end of a quiet road. The weather was amazing for us so most days spent on the beach which is a short, easy for the kids walk away. Pubs and small local shops all within a short walk away. As we had such good weather we barely touched the car all week which was perfect. Croyde is a lovely village with great beaches and nice pubs all close. Great house in a wonderful place would definitely come back again!

Home from Home.

It was perfect,great layout,we were a family of ten,three generations,plenty of room to have our own space.Cleanliness was five star,garden superb, four children who loved the space.We went Trout fishing and the children thought it was great to catch there dinner.Pop up Pizza was really good,also the barbecue was great.

Fabulous holiday rental - already rebooked for next year!

Brilliant location on the quieter side of Croyde village and yet a few minutes walk from all that the village has to offer. House is large and very well equipped. Lots of internal reception space so we all had room to find a quiet corner away from others and lots of bedrooms so plenty of flexibility in sleeping arrangements. Our four children made the most of the sizeable and secure garden and the outside eating areas and barbecue were appreciated. The hot outside shower is genius. Easy walk to Croyde beach via Sandy Way and easy drive to other nearby beaches. Tesco delivered with no issues. Lots of information provided on local activities by the owner. Very responsive owner and local property manager should there be any issues.

Was originally a little nervous about booking through Owner's Direct but our holiday was a huge success and we have already rebooked for next year! Would highly recommend.

Perfect in every way

Staying here was a great experience.

Everything exceeded expectations -from the huge, pristine garden to the immaculate condition of the house. There was more than enough space for 10 of us, with privacy if you needed in a self contained annexe.

The location was excellent for both the village and the beach, both a short walk away. Some incredible walks just on the doorstep too.

Would not hesitate to recommend this property to anyone, and hope to stay there again next time we're in Croyde.
