Villa 219 is located in a quiet cul de sac on the Highlands Reserve Golf course. This is an ideal base giving easy access to all of Orlando's major attractions with the bonus of being on a championship golf course. From the pool deck there are uninterrupted views of the 11th fairway. The villa has 4 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms, a games room with air hockey, pool table, darts and tennis rackets for use at local tennis court.

About Laurie Melville

Having visited Florida twice, staying on Highlands Reserve on both occasions, we decided to buy a holiday home there as we enjoyed it so much.

We stay in this villa regularly and treat it as our second home so we have set it up to how we like it. As such we think it is a well appointed villa with good quality equipment and facilities to make a stay there very comfortable.

Stayed there previously and loved it. Looked at several other areas and liked Highlands Reserve the most. While still being close enough to all the local attractions it is a very peaceful place to unwind after the noise and chaos of the parks.

Notes on accommodation: Our spacious villa is furnished to a high standard and is fully air conditioned. Bedrooms and lounge area have ceiling fans. The pool and deck area overlook the 11th fairway. The outside area is very secluded from neighbouring properties. Outside: Parking for two cars at the front of villa. Pool area to the rear with sun loungers and two seating areas for al fresco eating. Removable child safety fence protecting the pool area. Approx. 28 X 16 ft private pool. Entire pool and deck area is screened to keep out any bugs. Pool heating is available at an additional cost. All outdoor areas are well maintained laid mostly to grass with some small shrubs. Utility Room: Washing machine, tumble dryer, ironing board with iron and clothes line in garage. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Towels and linen are included. Villa is cleaned for arrival and after departure. Extra cleaning is available at an additional cost. Other: Our dining area is open plan to the kitchen and lounge. The family room has a sofa, flat screen television with Xbox 360 Kinect. In the garage there are laundry and games facilities including washing machine, tumble drier, air hockey and pool table.

Great villa

Just got back from our three week holiday having stayed at this villa. As a family of 6 with 4 young boys the villa was perfect and exactly what we needed it was like home from home. The boys loved playing in the large pool after a busy day in the parks and the games room was also a hit. Having previously stayed on highlands reserve previously as part of a package holiday we we so impressed with the area that we wanted to return and this villa lived up to what we wished for. The villa is only a short drive from the parks and shopping malls. The villa was well maintained and watched after and offered plenty of room and all the facilities you need. Making the arrangements with Laurie for our stay were straight forward and easy and could have asked for more. I would highly recommend the villa to anyone looking to stay as part of their holiday and hope to return ourselves as we were so impressed as soon as we save up for our next holiday. Thank you for allowing us to stay at your property and hopefully we will speak soon.

Great location lots of restaurants in the area if you dont want to travel

Lovely villa apart from the sofa needs changed but comfortable enough pool area lovely bot irma took out some of the netting so had a good few more visitors than normal didn't sit out much at night as we couldnt put the lights on for the bugs. That was not anyones fault thou would defo come back here.

Owner's Response: Thank you so much for your review and your valued comments, we were the next people in the villa after you and the first thing we did was to replace the sofa in the lounge as we were very unhappy with its condition when we got there. We have also replaced the coffee table and the two lamp tables and the lights. We have also replaced the sofa in the snug as it's condition was not up to what we would accept. Both of these sofas seem to have deteriorated badly since we were last there in April. We have also replaced the washing machine and tumble drier as the washing machine had started to leak. Hurricane Irma did cause a lot of issues with our netting but the biggest problem was that there was no net available for repair. We managed to find some a distance away and all the nets are now complete.

Perfect villa in the perfect location

Fantastic, well maintained villa, great location, amazing holiday.

We've stayed on Highlands Reserve 4 times now, but this is the best villa we've been in. There are nothing but positives about the place - the villa is really well equipped - it had everything we could think of and more; it is spotlessly clean; and has really comfortable beds to fall into after a long day at the parks riding roller-coasters. It also has great open views across the golf course - you'll see some stunning sunsets - but the pool deck area is screened off by some trees to give you privacy.

The location is perfect. - 15-20 mins from Disney, 30-40 mins from Universal depending on traffic, which gives you the convenience of getting to the parks easily, but also getting out of the "madness" of the Disney/Universal bubble and having a quiet, relaxing end to the day. It's also around 75-90 mins drive to NASA at Kennedy Space Center, and just a couple of miles away from the I4 Interstate if you want to visit Tampa or the beaches around St Pete's and Clearwater.

More locally the villa is about 2 mins from Berry Town Center for Publix supermarket, an ATM, Circle K gas station and various other shops and restaurants (Applebees, IHoP, etc) and only another few mins in either direction on the US27 to a selection of other shops and restaurants - either located just off the US27 or off Highway 192. One of our favourites is DiRomio's for Italian (north on the US27 at Polo Park, just before the turn off onto the 192)

The owners Laurie and Colleen are great - very easy to deal with, prompt in replying to contacts and providing information.

I'd definitely recommend this villa - we had our best family holiday yet here, and look forward to staying here again.

Superb, well equipped villa in a good location

The villa exceeded our expectations. It is very spacious and has a great room layout that makes it suitable for a group of three, as we were, but equally suitable for families with children. It is well equipped with everything you could possibly need. The owners, when staying there themselves, have clearly given careful thought to what makes the villa work for holidaymakers. The main living area flows from the kitchen through to the dining area and then to the comfortable lounge area with a view out to the pool and on to the golf course. Comfortable outside seating around the pool makes it a great place for eating al fresco. We didn't use the barbecue but it is there if you want it. I have been to villas in Europe before with a sea view. In the centre of Florida this isn't possible but it does have a great view of the golf course. Just as relaxing & entertaining to sit and watch the golfers and their buggies as it is watching the boats on the sea. The pool was used daily by our group. We didn't need the safety net as we had no children with us but would use it if I came again with my grand children. Pool toys are provided for the children (or grown ups) to use in the pool. Loved the entertainment provided in the games room. Pool table, air hockey & darts. The villa is well located for the Disney parks but also well worth going as far as the Kennedy Space Centre on the east coast. We had a very interesting day there. We really enjoyed our stay at Villa 219 and can't wait to go back. Thanks to Collen & Laurie for providing the perfect villa for our holiday.

Great Villa

What can I say about this great villa that hasn't already been said. If/when my family I and return to Orlando, we don't need to look any further than this villa. It's extremely clean, very spacious and finished to very high standard. It's in an excellent location, 15/20 mins from Disney (I recommend using the toil road), 30/40mins from universal, depending upon traffic on the I4, and away from all the touristy spots, in a very tranquil, quiet part of orlando. Some shops and restaurants are close by.

The pool was excellent, overlooking the golf course, and there was no better place to unwind after a busy day at the park. As I have a four year old daughther, the pool security fence was a great additional feature, giving my wife and I piece of mind.

Colleen and Laurie were always on hand to answer any questions I had and made sure the pool security fence was up and a full tank of gas for the BBQ were in place for our arrival.

I couldn't recommend this villa enough.
