The Old Dairy Holiday Cottage at Oaker farm in the Peak District - ONE BEDROOMED Sleeps 2, cosy cottage comfortably furnished offering superb views over the surrounding countryside. The cottage annexes to our farmhouse and benefits from its own private garden and patio area. Lobby, hallway, bathroom/wc (shower over bath), fitted kitchen with dining table, bedroom with double bed, and upstairs is the sitting room affording the panoramic views down the valley.

We are situated within the heart of the Peak District which has 50,000 acres of spectacular countryside and peaceful villages. Oaker Farm Holiday Cottages nestle near the bottom of Lose Hill amidst our lovingly maintained farmland. We have exceptional views, possibly the most idyllic and peaceful retreat in the Peak District, the perfect place to experience the ever changing landscapes. We enjoy a delightfully tranquil and stunning position which is home to abundant wildlife, plants and birds. This is where the stresses of life are left behind. The area offers a great deal for the country lover; walking (many routes from the door), climbing, horse riding, sight seeing, hang gliding, gliding, bird-watching, or simply enjoying the peace and quiet, you will find this the perfect place to take a break. We are 1 mile from the Cheshire Cheese Inn, 1.5 miles from the village with local shopping facilities, pubs and bus and train services. Free WiFi. No smoking and no pets.

Booking Notes:
Please either phone or email me to make a reservation. £100 deposit on booking, the balance is due 4 weeks before the start of your holiday.

Notes on prices:
From Easter to the end of October we offer weekly bookings commencing on a Saturday, short breaks may be available if booked within 2 weeks of the holiday date.
From November to March (excluding Christmas and New Year) the minimum stay is 3 nights commencing on any day.
Arrival time after 4pm, and on the day of your departure we'd be grateful if you could leave by 10am
Prices include bed linen, towels, central heating and electricity.
Sorry we don't accept pets and the property is no smoking.

Notes on accommodation: Central heating throughout. We have a bike rack in the log barn - please just bring your own chain and lock. Outside: Enjoy stunning views from table and chairs on the patio, or use the picnic tables in the fields next to the cottage. We also have swings, slide, and fields for children to play in.
