Large Beach House in Cornwall, England - Perfect Location on the Beach, close to amenities and well known Cornish attractions

Our beach house in Porth is situated between Watergate Bay and Newquay. With direct access to a sandy beach, and sunset views over the Atlantic Ocean it is a perfect setting for a large family or those seeking space and luxury. The property is set in 5,250 Sq Ft on 4 floors with magnificent sea and beach views. It has been extensively and tastefully refurbished in 2012 and has 7 very large bedrooms, several large living areas, games room, sauna room, gym and a well equipped kitchen. It is close to Jamie Oliver's ' Fifteen' at Watergate Bay, and other major Cornish attractions, including Padstow, Truro and Falmouth. Parking spaces for 4 cars and a private garden plus three terraces provide ample space for relaxing whilst the waves roll in.

About Tony and Maureen Parton

We live in Staffordshire, UK and have 3 children. As they were growing up we looked for holidays where we had plenty to do but where we were also happy to spend time in our own house. We like contemporary style living and so the properties we own all reflect this. We have invested in large houses in Florida and Cornwall, which are available for short term (holiday) lets. They have been extensively refurbished and provide a clean, fresh, look and feel. We wanted to provide ample space and luxury for a family to live in while enjoying a holiday. We love spending time in our houses and hope that you will enjoy them too.

Why Tony and Maureen Parton chose Newquay & St Austell area

We looked for a large property, close to the beach with beatiful sea views. This one was perfect for us - we have a gate that gives access to a large sandy beach. We can wind away days just watching the Atlantic Ocean waves come in or families building sand castles on the beach, or go for a walk on cliff tops with magnificent views over the sea.

It is a short walk in to Newquay or Watergate Bay and a short drive from Padstow, Truro and other destinations. It is a large house which offers plenty of space for a family and their friends.

Notes on accommodation: There are plenty of holiday homes to rent in Cornwall but we think you would find it hard to find one to beat the view from our Beach House. As we directly overlook the beach, a river estuary runs down one side, hundreds of rock pools and cliffs loom large each side, you can be sure that every day you look out, you will be met with a fabulous view, be it an amazing sunset, crazy big waves rolling in or merely people just having a lovely time whiling away hours on the sandy beach. The beach is never overcrowded like Watergate or Fistral but just as lovely and its not too far to nip back for that windbreaker you forgot to bring! We have enjoyed great bbqs on the beach watching the sunset and topping up that glass of 'chilled wine' is a breeze when you're so close to home! This has been our own family holiday home for the last 3 years so it's furnished & equipped as a family home not a rental one. Interior design is partly coastal themed, comfortable and very spacious. Outside: The large landscaped back garden of the property is accessed via the Ground Floor games room, which has a table tennis table, floodlit table football, 42" flat screen tv and wii console plus games. This room connects to the Sauna and Gym which has Nordic Track treadmill with I Fit compatability, exercise bike, yoga mat, Pilates ring and ball, light weights and a walk in shower. Please note the Sauna/Gym room is Adults Only. The garden is on 2 levels with a choice of dining areas, and beautiful westerly views, (great for sunsets). The upper garden is lawned, with a patio, mini beach, plenty of all weather furniture, a Swiss Grill outdoor kitchen (gas included) & an outside shower point. The lower garden is accessed by a few steps or a slope and allows direct access to Porth Beach via the coded garden gate. A WWII bunker has a variety of beach games/furniture. There are 2 balconies (level 2 balcony is full width of house accessed from L2 sitting room and Master bedroom via patio doors. Utility Room: The lower floor has a utility room/mini kitchen with 2 washing machines, 2 tumble dryers, wash basket, pegs, clothes airer, Iron, ironing board, fridge freezer, sink, microwave and kettle for ease of al fresco entertaining. Outdoor spinning washing line. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: All bath towels and bed linen are included and these are changed weekly. Linen and towels have been chosen to match each individual room, there is a choice of duvets, down or synthetic. Molton Brown toiletries are also included. Other: 32ft conservatory off living room, comfy seating, dining table seats 14. Access to patio with outdoor furniture and glass balcony with stunning views. Sitting room with bookcases, views to sea. A 3rd sitting room on Level 2, with access to balcony.

Brilliant place to stay, very family friendly

I would recommend this property for any gathering very well located and has everything you need to enjoy your break. The sunsets are amazing, the games room works well with the gym and Sauna, plenty of room to spread out or find a corner to yourself to reflect on the day. The hosts made sure we were made welcome, I hope we can stay again in the future.

Amazing! Amazing! Amazing!

Four generations have had the most fabulous holiday in this beautiful home. When I walked in I couldn't believe the view from the lounge and the conservatory!

The location of the property is stunning, and so perfect as we spent every day on the beach, which was very child friendly. The accommodation was superb for us, fully equipped kitchen, large dining area, which accommodated us all for family meals, relaxing living room, but in truth this was rarely used because we were outside most of the time. The bedrooms were spacious, the beds comfortable and the showers great, plenty of hot water! We experienced amazing sunsets as we relaxed and played games in the evening in the conservatory area. This was a special holiday for us made even more so by this beautiful holiday home. Tony and Maureen couldn't have been more helpful with advice and help in providing extra cots, high chairs suggestions for meals out etc. I would have no hesitation in recommending this holiday home to anybody.

Perfect Porth Property

A beautiful home in a perfect location. Access to the family friendly and dog friendly beach was very convenient and there were some excellent walks nearby. The position of the property was very convenient for accessing other areas such as Padstow and Watergate Bay. The property was exceptionally clean and well maintained. Lovely fixtures and fittings enhanced the home.

The kitchen was very well stocked

with every implement necessary to produce fine meals. The exercise and games rooms were ideal if the weather was


I would certainly be pleased to recommend this property to friends and relatives, it had everything needed for a relaxing break or an energetic break if desired. The owners were very amiable and we had no trouble accessing the property on the first day. A lovely home.
