Our apartment is in the Miraflores Beach & Golf Resort located on the shores of the Mediterranean, in the province of Malaga, between the towns of Fuengirola & Marbella. The resort is renowned for being a peaceful, spacious, with lush well maintained gardens making it one of the most tranquil locations on the Rivera. The Beach & Golf Resort boasts having its own Beach Club, Social Club, Bowls Club, Tennis Club, 18 hole Golf Course, Golf Academy and a reception located in the social club where you will find the usual amenities you would expect in a high class hotel. Our apartment is located in Parque Building the flagship of the Miraflores Resort. The building contains circa 75 apartments in the Aztec styled building with a exceptional well maintained tropical garden which contains a communal swimming pool, kid’s pool and franchised pool bar / café. We also have a private parking space in the underground garage.

I am married with two twin girls. We travels and lived in several countries. I am Peruvian and Spanish speaking, my husband is Scottish. We love Spain, the climate and getting away from the Scottish wet weather and long dark winter nights, we hope to retire some day to Spain.

There is many things to do in the Costa del Sol. the children love it there, with the Beaches, Theme Parks, Days in the Garden / Pool, they take Tennis lessons and being girls they are learning quickly to fashion shop!

Why Natalie Angelica Hosie chose Mijas

We are a family with worldly connections. My husband travels and works abroad often. We bough the apartment when living in Bergen Norway - the third wettest city in the world - we needed to escape often!

We travel to Spain 4-5 times a year, I and the children try to spend 4-5 weeks there in the summer. This year due to other family commitment we won't be able to be there so much so after owning it for 5 year we've decided to attempt to get some rentals.

We hope guest get as much enjoyment as we've done.

What makes this apartment unique

The Miraflores Parque building is very secure. We have twin girls aged 8, when we bough the apartment we were concerned about security. The apartment is very secure, we also bought the underground garage space and storeroom. It is great as you arrive back at the apartment into a safe secure garage where you don't have to watch out for other traffic. We can get to our apartment from the garden with is also gated and secure. Have then additional security give us peace of mind.

Notes on accommodation: The apartment has recently been fitted with independent air-conditioners that will help bring the living + bedroom areas to the more normal British climate allowing guests to have a more comfortable sleep. It is larger and more spacious than a lot of the holiday apartments at just over 80 sq/m, the terrace is also large and overlooks the exceptionally well maintained tropical gardens. The apartment is fitted with a security system & the garage / gardens are fully enclosed & gated. Being parents ourselves this was a contributing factor in our purchase of the property, knowing we could relax a little without need to worry all the time about the children. Miraflores also boasts having a social club with restaurants, club pool & children’s play area. Over the summer months there will be live entertainment most nights of the week. The social club also acts as reception for the complex there you will find helpful staff that can guide you on other local amenities, booking trips etc. Outside: The balcony overlooks the mature communal gardens. The gardens are well maintained with two full-time gardeners. There is a large communal pool, kids pool and a franchised pool bar/café, there are plenty of sun loungers and shaded areas to sit. On the terrace there is a patio table and 4 chairs, there is also a clothes horse for drying beach ware and towels. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: All bed linen, domestic towels and beach towels are included in the price. A mid stay clean and linen change can be arranged for an addition charge. Other: The balcony overlooks the mature communal garden, it has a patio table & 4 chairs + a cloths hose for drying beach wear / towels. In the Garden there is a Communal & Kids Pool, Pool bar/café and there are plenty of sun loungers and shaded areas to sit in.

Fantastic place for families. Loved the gated pool and gardens gave us piece of mind with having two 7 year olds. The little refreshment place in the pool gardens was good value for money and gave the children independence to go and order their own food and drinks.

The villa itself was beautiful, well maintained and very clean. The amenities around the villages where more than adeqaute. Car is definitely required which gives you the freedom to go to merbella and others.

We will definitely be returning.

The Miraflores complex has its own beach club which is circa 500 meters walk from the apartment in addition the long sandy public beaches of La Cala and Cabopino are just 5 mins drive away. The beach at Cabopino is a bit more natural with sand dunes and some of the best beach bars on the Costa Del Sol.


Malaga airport is 35km / 25 mins drive from the apartment. While not strictly necessary to hire a car we would recommend hiring one so you can explore and enjoy all that Andulucia has to offer. If you don’t wish to hire a car the Miraflores reception can arrange one of the local taxis to meet you at the airport, this is much cheaper than using the airport taxis. Finding the apartment is very easy and we will issue you with very clear directions and maps in our welcome pack.


We are just 15 mins for Marbella with its fashionable shopping, or 10 mins from Fuengirola with its waterpark, zoo and nightlife. There are over 35 golf courses along the coast all set in stunning locations. During your stay why not visit some of the hilltop villages or take in some of the theme parks like the Selwo Safari Park, or Sealife, or Cable-car. Further afield day excursions to Malaga lakes, Ronda, Sevilla, Cadiz, or Gibraltar are worthwhile.

Note - OD's online booking takes the full payment and security deposit when booking also no discounts can be arranged via OD as it uses our set rates to calculate the rental.

To book directly with us we ask for a booking a £150 non-refundable deposit.

Prices for the property are per week and includes; apartment preparation, electricity, departure cleaning and laundry. Mid stay cleaning and laundry can be arranged for an addition charge.

With the exception of high season we also offer weekend and mid week rates and a discounted rate for long term rentals. Please email us for further details.

Changeover Day:
We try to be flexible on changeover days & not fill the apartment with back to back bookings as this affords guests flexibility on arrival / departure. However, unless previously arranged check-in is after 1600 hrs & depart by 1000 hrs.

Notes on prices:
To secure the booking a £150 non-refundable deposit is required. The final balance is payable 8 weeks prior to arrival. A £200 refundable key / damage deposit will also be made.

Owner's Cancellation Policy

  • 50% refund for cancellations more than 7 days before check-in date.
  • 100% refund for cancellations more than 14 days before check-in date.
  • Service Fee fully refunded on cancellations that qualify for 100% refund.
