Villa in Lake Vinuela, Costa del Sol (Inland), Spain - Tranquil Location With Views Overlooking Lake Vinuela And Mountains

The house was built about ten years ago, and used as a second home, so it is fully equipped. It is only rented for a few months of the year as it is a family home. Google Street view shows it is in the village of Vinuella. which it is not .It is situated off the A7204 with a minor road leading to the villa. On the map it is between Las Mayoralas and Hotel Vinuella with a footpath down to the lake.

Fantastic villa in stunning location

Its often said that photos dont do justice to a villa on this site, and this is most certainly true here. My wife and I love this part of Spain, and this Villa is situated in probably the perfect spot. It is off the beaten track without being too remote (on a made up road), up in the hills overlooking the beautiful Lake Vinuela with the mountains opposite.. The goat herd will pass the front of the Villa later on in the evening, a sure sign you are away from it all.

The villa has a good size double bedroom with ensuite shower room, and there is also a pleasant twin room and family bathroom. The kitchen is open plan to a large living dining room. All very well equipped and with essential a/c. There is a good size pool with sun terrace and plenty of sunbeds, and table and chairs to eat al fresco.

The local area is full of pretty white washed typically Spanish villages, with ample bars and restaurants, and some real gems hidden away. 30 mins and you are on the superb beach at Torre del Mar and 15 mins away from supermarkets, although there are a couple of smaller shops locally. You will need a car to get around but a little exploring of this wonderful quiet part of Spain is well worthwhile. We like to always try different places otherwise we would most certainly return for more. Miss it loads.

We had a fantastic family holiday. The villa was very clean and comfortable with all the equipment you need. The best thing for us was the peace and tranquillity. The lake is beautiful during the day with birds swooping over and at night it is very relaxing watching the twinkling lights of the villas on the other side. The children loved the pool and spent most of the day in it. There are a good range of local shops and larger supermarkets in Velez Malaga, which also has a great water park. We hope we may go back one day.

We had a fabulous 2 weeks summer holiday here. The views are fabulous, the peace and quiet enabled a very relaxing holiday. The house is spacious and very comfortable We loved the pool and my husband enjoyed running down to the lake. The local villages have everything you need. Particularly worth a visit are the local bakery and charity shop! We really didn't want to leave.

Beaches at Torrox, Torre Del Mar, (ten to fifteen minute drive) Nerja is twenty minute drive.


Malaga airport - approx 45 mins.

Car essential at the villa, but taxi is available to and from the airport if previously arranged.

Further Details:

Small supermarket, butcher, bars and restaurants in the village of Punta Don Manuel, approx one mile. There is also a small farmers market one day a week.

The house and garden are very child friendly. TV, air con and open fire. From the photos you can see that part of the property is double storey. This is a suite for the use of the owners when there with their family. This room is locked and not used when guests are renting the house. El Limonero is situated on a hill in a tranquil area - the village is approx 1 mile away, car is essential,. 10 - 20 mins to sea and approx 5 miles to the National Park. Lake Vinuela has a small boating club, which should be open to the public 2016, with small boats for hire. Outside: Patio furniture on sun terrace - table seating six Under pergola - long table with bench. Sun loungers and director's chairs Portable barbecue. Pool can be heated if prior arrangements are made and price agreed. Utility Room: There is a washing machine/dryer in the shower room. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Pool towels, shower towels and bedding are included. The property will be cleaned before arrival and must be left in the same condition. If you do not wish to do a final clean yourself, cleaning can arranged but must be booked and paid for in advance. Other: Dining area has a dark wood table and six matching chairs
