Gorgeous cottage in great location

  • 5 of 5

Very clean, tidy cottage with all the facilities you could need. We are a couple staying in the area and found it to be great location to local shops/pubs.

Just what we wanted!

  • 5 of 5

For four friends on a walking holiday, this was an ideal place to stay. The location is perfect - central but also really peaceful. The cottage is clean, cosy and very well-equipped, the beds are comfy and the washing/toilet facilities are excellent. We loved the wood burning stove in the living room. We all agreed this cottage was a real find, and hope to return again soon. Thank you to Suzanne who discreetly kept an eye on the property.

Great cottage

  • 5 of 5

Really enjoyed our stay at the cottage. Very clean and had everything we needed. I spoke to Helen several times before our stay and was very impressed with how she runs the rental. Arrangements and instructions are clear and we were welcomed as agreed on arrival. Highly recommended.

Very comfortable cottage in great location

  • 5 of 5

Our family of 5 had a very enjoyable stay in this cottage. It's extremely well equipped, spotlessly clean, the beds very comfortable, and we made good use of the wood burner as we had a run of cold rainy weather (arriving after a day of heavy snow!). The location was ideal as within easy walking distance of all Hathersage's amenities. We braved the open air pool one cold drizzly day(!), took a trip to Buxton and visited Derwent Reservoir. We also enjoyed a fabulous walk from Grindleford on our only sunny day. The Hathersage Social Club is to be recommended for amazing food and service. We'd definitely use this cottage again if we were staying in the area.

Great cottage for a family break

  • 4 of 5

Lovely, well-appointed cottage in excellent location. Very clean accommodation, and exactly as described. A real home-from-home feel about it. Neighbour very helpful in explaining best way into village (we arrived in the dark); supermarket delivery worked fine. Lots of useful info in folders in living room regarding walks and shops in village. Would definitely recommend.
