Villa in Nizas, Pezenas, Herault, Languedoc-Roussillon, France - Tranquil Location On The Verge Of A Sleepy French Village But 10 Mins Drive To A Historic Town
Les Vignals is a large private villa with uninterrupted panoramic views over the French countryside and the picturesque village of Nizas. The villa is ideally situated to enjoy the relaxed village atmosphere of southern France but still be within easy reach of the busy tourist centres of Pezenas, Beziers & Montpellier. The villa is a newly built four bedroom, two storey property on a 1000 sq metre site with a private pool. The ground floor has two bedrooms, bathroom, utility room, WC and a spacious open plan modern kitchen, lounge and dining area which opens onto a large covered terrace. The second floor has two bedrooms and a bathroom. The grounds are completely private with spacious sun bathing area, BBQ and alfresco dining. There is car parking for two cars and a boules/play area. It's a 5 minutes walk into the medieval village of Nizas where all supplies are available at the local shop.

About the Owner
The property is owned by a family based in Northern Ireland and we bought the property when it was being built in 2003. We holiday here every year and we really love the area. Both ourselves and our extended family and friends have used the property over the last number of years. Even though we go every year,we still really look forward to getting outside to enjoy French life, good weather and the pool.

A place to have a really relaxing holiday
We have just returned from Les Vignals after two peaceful and sun-filled weeks. The setting is perfect being on the fringes of a very pretty village but in a quiet cul-de-sac of four houses. The house has everything that you could need and is a real home from home. Most of your time will be spent around the fabulous pool area overlooking the village from a height but not overlooked in any way. The local bar/pizzeria has great rose wine for only 1 Euro a glass and their pizzas are very good should you want an evening off from the BBQ. The locals were very friendly and made us feel welcome. Pezenas, nearby, has everything you would want from the weekly market on a Saturday to the artisan shops selling everything from handbags to local produce. There is a good variety of restaurants catering for all tastes. If you feel the need to leave the villa the Mediterranean is only half and hour away and the mountains the same in the other direction. If you are looking for good quality local wine (especially the rose) without travelling too far the Domaine de Nizaz on the road to Caux is the place for you. Very cute "hamlet" with a very helpful owner. The villa is suitable for couples and families alike and hopefully we will return for another holiday in the future.

I cannot recommend Les Vignals highly enough for a family holiday you will never forget. The location and setting is perfect for that tranquil break in the sunshine in this beautiful, rural part of France with the immaculate, spacious villa extremely comfortable for larger or extended families.
The children can have great fun in the large pool while the adults take advantage of the many shady areas on the terrace or under the "palm" tree to doze or read. There are also plenty of options for days out when you can bear to leave the villa. A hire car though is a necessity. Trips to Pezanas are also a must to wander the cobbled strees and explore the artisan shops and the beaches are less than half an hour away. You can also hire bikes to explore the beautiful countryside. Nizas locals are extremely welcoming to their many community events in the village.
We've been several times now over the years and cannot wait to return again to Les Vignals to enjoy wonderful meals shared al fresco washed down with the delicious local wine. Great Memories. Sarah. N Ireland.
Having rented many villas in the past, Les Vignales tops them all, hence our 2nd visit. We love its elevated position with fabulous views and the easy 7 minute drive to wonderful Pezenas. The house is superbly equipped and the spacious layout lends itself perfectly for 2 families or groups. We loved having every meal on the terrace and spending some days never even leaving the house and simply enjoying the gorgeous pool and the whole ambiance. We have also enjoyed strolling through the vineyards at the top of the road where the views are spectacular...
We had a peaceful and relaxing holiday in this beautiful well equipped and maintained villa. The villa is situated in an unspoiled wine producing area with easy driving distance to the coast and many other historical towns and villages. The accommodation is of high standard with everything you could need. The pool and patio area has comfortable sun loungers and dining furniture. We found it a great place to relax and enjoy everything that is good about the French way of life.
I love spending time in this beautiful part of France. This holiday home is perfect for families or a group of friends. Penalty of space to enjoy each other's company or snooze by the pool in your own company . The house is really well equipped and just a short walk from the village which has a bar and a great little shop. Fantastic views great wine and super fresh food available locally - a perfect holiday location. Pezenas is just a 10 min drive away when you feel the need to experience a busy town with loads of shops and restaurants.
From the Owner
“We always wanted a property with a fantastic view, just on the edge of a village with some privacy but with the option of easy access to the tourist areas.”

If the Mediterranean coast and its superb, endless, sandy beaches are what you seek these are just 25 km (15 miles) away – close enough to visit any time you wish but also far enough away as to maintain the quiet solitude of the village.
