House on gated El Divino complex, Los Alcazares, Costa Calida, Spain - Spacious Two Bed Air-Conditioned House Overlooking Pool And Gardens

Our large, well equipped, air conditioned/heated holiday house benefits from gardens & two pools, both with children's sections. It's located on the Costa Calida (warm coast), a stretch of coastline offering safe bathing & water sports. (The World Health organisation declared the province of Murcia the cleanest area in Spain) it's an easy level walk to beaches, with pedolas, beach bars, play areas, sun loungers & umbrellas for hire. Bars, restaurants & shops. The Mar Menor is a saltwater lagoon, divided from the Mediterranean by La Manga peninsula so the lagoon is like a vast natural swimming pool, with temperatures suitable for year-round bathing. The area has a selection of routes to explore on foot, cycle, horseback, sailing or car. The weather here is among the best in Spain & the makes the area a favourite with golfers of all standards. There's water parks at Torreveija, Quesada with the largest at Aqualandia at Bennidorm. Also in Benidorm is Terra Mitica theme park.

1. Well equipped house, nicely furnished and spotlessly clean (when we arrived at least!) Great position on complex. Our first visit in school holidays and we were pleased it still felt relaxing. 3. We had a lovely stay in the villa. The resort was very clean & child friendly as was the villa. There was plenty of room for a family of four (we have two children under 3) & there were bars and restaurants within a short walk. The beach was also a ten minute walk & is ideal for families. Trevor was incredibly helpful throughout the booking process & we would definitely recommend the accommodation to others. Abby

The apartment was fantastic in all aspects. Owner Trevor could not have been more helpful. An immaculate property with everything you need for a relaxing holiday. All amenities as described and closeby. Also the lady who looks after the apartment,Gill could not be more helpful.A real professional at her job.Thanks again Trevor and Paula and Gill (hope thats spelt right) for a fantastic holiday experience.

Absolutely wonderful

The house is immaculate, beautifully furnished and very comfortable. Everything we needed wass provided. Ideal location on the site with the back door leading to the pool and gardens. Not far from beach, sh ops and restaurants - 5 minutes walk at most.

Trevor couldn't be more helpful and friendly.

We will definitely be back next year.

A refreshingly,restful retreat.

We thoroughly recommend this immaculately clean, quality property, which more than satisfied our requirements.The standard of accommodation left nothing to desire, we enjoyed the barbeque, sun-roof, adjacent pool, evenings lounging in the serene environment.

It's location to the square and the beach, offering bars ,restaurants etc was a 5 min stroll, ideal for couples, families ,groups.

We recommend the many restaurants ,bars, bike hire, markets and lucky for us, long hours of glorious sunshine.

We anticipate more visits.

The welcome pack was a lovely start to a really enjoyable stay.

Activity and Interests

Nearest Airport : San Javier (Murcia). 10 mins by taxi or car at 4 Miles Nearest Restaurant : Spanish at top of road, many in the square at 400 Metres Car: not necessary

Special interest holidays:

Extensive sailing, windsurfing & para-surfing are within a 10 minute walk on the Mar Minor lagoon.

Coast/Beach:

The beach is under 10 minutes, level walk, & is suitable for all ages. The flat promenade is 7 km long and there many bars/cafes. Sun beds, beach umbrellas & pedolas can be hired.

Travel:

San Javier airport (Murcia) is a 10 minute drive from the house. You can hire cars from here, get a taxi or we can recommend a reliable driver to meet you. Alicante airport is under an hour by car. Because walking in and around the are is flat some people find they don't need a car. Bicycles can be hired locally & for those with children in pushchairs, the flat terrain makes getting to the beaches, shops and restaurants easy.

Distances:

The old town of Los Alcazares, with it's exceptional restaurants, is within easy walking distance & on Tuesdays a lively market is held. The historic port of Cartagena & the region's capital city, Murcia, can be reached by car.

Rental charges include wi-fi, air conditioning/heating, electricity, water, cleaning, towels (including beach towels (to keep your luggage weight down) and a complimentary welcome pack of basic items to get you started.
Changeover Day: usually at the weekend but we'll be as flexible as we can. Please contact owner if you have any questions or if anything is unclear.

When you make a provisional booking a reservation will be held for 7 days. A non-refundable deposit of £75.00 per week is required with your booking form & I will send confirmation. The balance is usually required 8 weeks before your holiday starts. If your booking is made within 8 weeks of departure then full payment is required with the booking form.

Owner's Cancellation Policy

100% refund for cancellations more than 30 days before check-in date.

  • Notes on accommodation: In consideration of other guests no pets & no smoking in the house. Outside: To the front is a terrace & small garden, suitable for eating/drinking outside. At the rear, leading from the kitchen, is another terrace also suitable for eating/drinking & this overlooks the large gardens and one of two swimming pools. (Both pools have children's shallow sections).During busy months of the year the pools and gardens are patrolled. Outdoor furniture is provided and includes sunbeds. The front terrace has electric power points, useful for cooking on the plancha. Utility Room: The washing machine is outside the kitchen, in the boiler room. (Washing may be dried on the roof solarium on the three lines.) Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Your house is cleaned ready for your arrival (included in the rental cost) and is provided with clean bedding, bathroom & beach towels.
