House on gated El Divino complex, Los Alcazares, Costa Calida, Spain - Spacious Two Bed Air-Conditioned House Overlooking Pool And Gardens

Our large, well equipped, air conditioned/heated holiday house benefits from gardens & two pools, both with children's sections. It's located on the Costa Calida (warm coast), a stretch of coastline offering great bathing & water sports. Its an easy level walk to beaches, with pedolas, beach bars, play areas, sun loungers & umbrellas for hire. Bars, restaurants & shops. The Mar Menor is a saltwater lagoon, divided from the Mediterranean by La Manga peninsula so the lagoon is like a vast natural swimming pool, with temperatures suitable for year-round bathing. The area has a selection of routes to explore on foot, cycle, horseback, sailing or car. The weather here is among the best in Spain & the makes the area a favourite with golfers of all standards. There's water parks at Torreveija, Quesada with the largest at Aqualandia at Bennidorm. Also in Benidorm is Terra Mitica theme park.

3. We had a lovely stay in the villa. The resort was very clean & child friendly as was the villa. There was plenty of room for a family of four (we have two children under 3) & there were bars and restaurants within a short walk. The beach was also a ten minute walk & is ideal for families. Notes on accommodation: In consideration of other guests no pets & no smoking in the house. Outside: To the front is a terrace & small garden, suitable for eating/drinking outside. At the rear, leading from the kitchen, is another terrace also suitable for eating/drinking & this overlooks the large gardens and one of two swimming pools. (Both pools have children's shallow sections).During busy months of the year the pools and gardens are patrolled. Outdoor furniture is provided and includes sunbeds. The front terrace has electric power points, useful for cooking on the plancha. Utility Room: The washing machine is outside the kitchen, in the boiler room. (Washing may be dried on the roof solarium on the three lines.) Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Your house is cleaned ready for your arrival (included in the rental cost) and is provided with clean bedding, bathroom & beach towels.

Exceptional Holiday Home with every convenience.

From the very beginning everything about booking this Exceptional Holiday Home in Los Alcazares, Spain was painless & so easy.

We actually had a phone call from the Owner (Trevor) and it put our minds so much more at ease about booking it, and paying him via international bank transfer. He was professional, but also very informative & everything was totally as described.

We arrived on a VERY HOT day (40c) and the apartment wasn't ready, so the lady cleaning let us use the pool while she finished - which was VERY appreciated after our very long journey by buses from France. She was extremely helpful & was only a phone call away if we had any queries.

The pool was absolutely the best place to be during our 7 days there, & we made many friendships there during our stay, wonderful regulars to the El Divino gated complex, who quickly brought us up to speed in regard to the best places to eat & where to visit etc.

The gardens & pool area were wonderful, the grassed areas were perfect for laying out & reading or relaxing. The whole complex was like a "family orientated" community & we felt very happy staying here.

The two bedrooms, lounge & dining areas were spacious enough for four adults & the apartment had all that you could possibly need for your stay (including sun lounges & pool "noodles" for floating with, to beach towels & everything in between).

We have NO hesitation in recommending this apartment & the owners to anyone looking for a great place to stay, with lots of fine, local eateries within walking distance & also the beach.

We'd give this the highest rating possible.

Exceptionally well laid out apartment with every thing you could need. 3 meters to the pool which alongside the grounds is extremely well kept. Would not have any hesitation in recommending this as a great get away

Excellent Accomodation

Loved this house. The owners have thought of even smallest detail. Immaculately clean & maintained. Bed linen & towels clean and as new condition. (Beach towels provided).

Loved the garden aspect to front of house, perfect for early morning coffee and late evening glass of wine. All information well documented and easy accessible. Accomodation 10 minutes from airport, within walking distance of supermarkets, restaurants & beach.

Customer service excellent before and after holiday.

Would definitely recommend this house, and would love to return.

Lovely property with everything you need

We stayed at the property for just under 2 weeks with our 18 month old. The house was very clean and really has everything you need for the stay. There were lots of things for our son which was great, a very comfortable travel cot, high chair and lots of toys for the beach and pool. The owner was very helpful before and throughout our visit - will hopefully return :)

Just What We Wanted!

We booked a long weekend in early May to celebrate my birthday and were looking for somewhere with good quality accommodation, a swimming pool, lovely gardens, wifi, close to bars and restaurants, and the beach and this ticked all the boxes. The sun shone for us and we had a fantastic time.

Trevor was very helpful and informative from start to finish. The villa was well equipped including a stock of basic supplies (salt, pepper, oil, vinegar, etc etc). We had no complaints at all and recommend the property without hesitation.

Special interest holidays:

Extensive sailing, windsurfing & para-surfing are within a 10 minute walk on the Mar Minor lagoon.

Coast/Beach:

The beach is about a 10 minute level walk & is suitable for all ages. The flat promenade is 7 km long and there many bars/cafes. Sun beds, beach umbrellas & pedolas can be hired.

Travel:

San Javier airport (Murcia) is a 10 minute drive from the house. You can hire cars from here, get a taxi or we can recommend a reliable driver to meet you. Alicante airport is under an hour by car. Because walking in and around the are is flat some people find they don't need a car. Bicycles can be hired locally & for those with children in pushchairs, the flat terrain makes getting to the beaches, shops and restaurants easy.

Distances:

The old town of Los Alcazares, with it's exceptional restaurants, is within easy walking distance & on Tuesdays a lively market is held. The historic port of Cartagena & the region's capital city, Murcia, can be reached by bus or car.
