Why Jennifer Robertson chose Cherbourg area
It is the incredible history of the region that brought Stuart and Jennifer Robertson to Normandy. Our home is now a wonderful base for visitors to explore the region around them. Every item you would need is here, we know that because we lived here for eight years and have completely furnished the property as if it were our own home.
What makes this cottage unique
Both Jennifer and Stuart have experienced many holiday homes in the region. We have taken all the best features of those places we have stayed ourselves and incorporated them into, what we would consider, as not a gite, but a home from home.

Normandy visit 2016
I stayed at Le Port at the start of July 2016 to watch the Tour de France that was passing through the area with a group of friends. It is very well equipped and feels more like a home than a holiday rental.Everything we could possibly was there. The location is very convenient for visiting the D-Day beaches and Mont-St,Michel.The House is not far from Ste-Mere-Eglise for convenient food shopping and a few early evening drinks, but we also loved the peace and quiet and spent most evenings around the bbq.I would definetley stay there again.
