Apartment in Mandelieu-la-Napoule, Alpes-Maritimes, Provence-Alpes-Cote d'Azur, France - 15 Minute Walk To Beach

Two bedroom apartment on the 8th floor of a purpose built block, situated on the edge of Mandelieu-la-Napoule. The apartment is very light, and airy, always a lovely breeze wafting through, when sliding French doors are open. There is wheel chair access, and two lifts. Parking within secured gate of the complex block. Transport easy accessible into Cannes, 5 km away. Cannes golf club is 5 minutes walk. 15 minutes walk to the beach. Just a walk across the road to a commercial centre which includes a very large super market, and independent shops.

About Nina Warren

I have always lived in London, which is where I had my business, but decided 10 years ago to sell up and move to the South of France. My Mother of 94 years lives in Mandelieu and needed help in her everyday life. I love the area, so bought this apartment as it seemed an ideal spot near to shops and beach which is what I needed, and of course, close to my Mum. It is the 2nd year now that I have rented out the property, and I have to say everyone has been very happy with their choice.

Why Nina Warren chose Mandelieu-La Napoule

This is one of my favourite areas in the South of France, manly because it is so accessible to everything. 2 minute walk to the shops, the village is close by for banks etc. and the beaches are 10 minutes away. Also there is such easy access to the airport, as it is only 5 minutes to the A8 then 30/40 minutes on the motorway. Then to drive to Italy is only an hour, or you can get the train from La Napoule. It is also so close to Cannes, with it's lovely restaurants, and bars. I looked around at other properties and felt that none of them had as good a location as this one. I could not chosen anywhere better as far as I am concerned.

Notes on accommodation: Unfortunately no pets allowed. I so supply beach towels if needed. Also hairdryer. There will be a 'Welcome Pack' on arrival. Which includes a bottle of wine, tea,coffee, and milk, Outside: The apartment has a large wrap around terrace. The front terrace has a lovely sea and view of the islands, golf course and shared swimming pool. There is a wooden table for outside dining with four chairs. The back terrace overlooks the mountains, and the road, and there is a small table and four chairs. This gets the sun after 5pm. Utility Room: Iron. Ironing Board. Cleaning materials. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Towels, beach towels and linen included for each room. Cleaning is at the end of the stay, if you book for 14 days, there will be a sheet change at the end of the first week at no extra cost. Other: Bedroom 1. Satellite TV. Queens size bed. Side tables, with side lamps. Fitted wardrobe, and chest of drawers. Access to back terrace.

If you are looking for a beautiful,clean and very spacious apartment then look no further.The views are wonderful from a wrap around balcony and wow its lovely and hot from 8 am on the balcony overlooking the pool and golf course.We hired a car and it was only a 30 minute drive from nice airport,nice and secure with the electric gate.

I had no problem parking at all during our stay.

Easy access to some stunning local villages like biot,valbon,mougins,teol sur mer and lots more.

Worth a trip to nice for the day great shops and plenty of places to eat and drink.

Nina was a wonderful host any small issues we had she was very helpful and we now feel we have made a friend for life.

Thanks again nina for letting us enjoy your wonderful apartment and we will definitely be re booking again next year.

Stunning Views!

Property owner was very friendly and had a nice chilled bottle of wine ready for us on arrival after our long drive. The views from the balcony were superb! The property was very comfortable but tired and could do with some updating. Property is in a great location central to a big shopping centre but a car would deffinately be advised. There is guests parking at the apartment block but not many spaces.

The apartment is a 10/15 minute walk to the beach at La Napoule. The village has many Pizza type restaurants, but, also fine dining if preferred There is private and public beaches which are over looked by the Château. There are also several private beaches and public beaches on the way to Cannes, the nearest being a 15 minute walk through the golf course. The marina 'La Rague' is a very pretty port, again with restaurants, private and public beaches, only a 5 minutes drive.


The apartment is 5 minutes from the motorway which will take you 40 minutes to get straight to the airport. It is not necessary to have a car as the apartment is so well appointed for shops, beaches etc. Of course, if you want to go further then it is advisable to hire a car, this can be acquired at the airport. If an airport transfer is necessary this can be arranged at an extra cost of 70 euros.


It is 7 kml into Cannes. Monaco is a 45 minute drive on the motorway, and Italy is 1 hour. Valbonne which is a popular village is approx. 25 minutes in the car, and worth a visit. There is also Juans le Pins/Antibes about 25 minutes away. St. Paul de Vence is another popular close destination. You can always go South to St. Tropez on the A8 which takes about an hour, or catch the ferry from St.Maxine if you would prefer over the bay to St.Tropez which is a super trip.

Further Details:

Geant Casino, a large hyper- market is a 5 minute walk. There are small boutiques, coffee shops, and a restaurant. All normal daily requirements are available. Banks and other amenities are in Mandelieu town, a walk or 2 minute drive away.

Booking Notes:
Please request availability by email. This will be acknowledged by the sending of a rental contract and booking form, this needs to be completed and returned within 7 days, with a 30% deposit in the form of a cheque, Paypal or bank transfer. The receipt of the deposit will confirm your booking. The balance to be paid not less than 6 weeks (36 days) of your booking date.

Changeover Day:
Change over day will generally be on Saturdays, but I am always open to negotiation. The premises must be vacated by 10 am. Time of arrival from 4pm.

Owner's Cancellation Policy

  • 50% refund for cancellations more than 14 days before check-in date.
  • 100% refund for cancellations more than 30 days before check-in date.
  • Service Fee fully refunded on cancellations that qualify for 100% refund.
