Apartment in La Torre Golf Resort, Murcia, Spain - Peaceful Location But Only 5 Minute Walk To Resort Town Centre, Glass Curtains For All Year Use

Sleeps 4. This stunning 2 bedroom second floor apartment is furnished to an extremely high standard. It offers excellent front line views of the golf course, overlooking the 3rd Hole and a lovely communal swimming pool. There are 2 other larger pools very close to the property. The property is located close to the resort's town centre with its Hotel, bars and restaurants. The Supermarket, clubhouse, golf shop, putting green and driving range are only a 5 minute walk away. The Resort also has Tennis facilities. The resort supermarket is well stocked and reasonably priced. The fantastic beach and restaurants at Los Alcazares are only 15 minutes drive away. Extras include: Bluetooth speaker, DVD player, free WIFI, portable sun loungers and deck chairs. Cool bag and parasol for the beach, Tennis Racquets, 1 set ladies golf clubs, 1 set gents golf clubs, selections of books and DVDs, Airbed for additional guests, travel cot.

We live in Scotland and have four lovely children. We have had about 6 holidays in La Torre over the last few years and absolutely love the place. Last year (2012) whilst on holiday there, we decided to take the plunge and buy our little piece of paradise. We hope you love our home as much as we do.

Why Karen Baillie chose Cartagena & Mar Menor

We love the peace and tranquility at La Torre. We both play golf and love the Lifestyle the Resort offers. You do need a car to go and explore the surrounding area, but nothing is too far away. Murcia and Cartagena are both great for a day out and you can take the train from Balsicas to both. The Beach is only about a 15 minute drive as is the huge shopping centre just outside Murcia. It really is just like a home from home.

What makes this apartment unique

We chose this apartment as it is close to the Resort Town Centre, but far enough away that you don't get the noise. It has wonderful views and we love sitting on the Terrace having breakfast, watching the golfers go by. You can sit on the Terrace and watch the kids playing in the pool. Many of the Apartments are overlooked, but as the Terrace is on two sides, you can always find an area for some privacy. The sun is on different parts of the Terrace at different times of the day depending on the season, so you can usually find a sunny or shaded spot.

April 2013 We stayed at Casa Baillie for almost 2 weeks. We really enjoyed our stay here. It's a lovely clean apartment with a stunning view over the golfcourse (hole 3). When we stayed here the weather wasn't that good, but with the window shutters on the terrace we could still sit "outside" and enjoy the view. Actually the terrace is a kind of extension of the livingroom, really loved it!! If you are looking for a nice apartment on a golfcourse this is the one.We would recommend it to anyone!



08/05/2013 Sitting on the balcony, eating at the dining table or just chilling on the comfortable furniture was an extremely pleasant experience.



The apartment is very clean, very tastefully decorated and well equipped with everything you would possibly need. I would not hesitate in recommending this apartment to anyone (in fact I have already forwarded details to some of my friends) and I would certainly go back to Casa Baillie at La Torre in the near future

Notes on accommodation: No smoking within the Apartment. Travel cot and Double Air bed for additional guests. Extras include Free wifi. Bluetooth speaker. Set of ladies and gents golf clubs. Tennis racquets. Beer/wine fridge. Portable Sun Loungers, Deck Chairs and Cool Bag for pool/beach, books and DVDs. The main part of the terrace is not overlooked. Outside: The Terrace has glass curtains and two heaters so can be used throughout the year. There are two sofas, a coffee table and 2 reclining chairs on the Terrace. There is also a dining Table with 6 chairs. There are 23 shared pools throughout the resort and Tennis Courts. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Towels and Linen will be provided. There is a cleaning charge of £50 payable when the balance is due.

GREAT APARTMENT

great apartment, had everything you could want and some extras, like spices etc in kitchen and foil and wrap, things you can forget about when you do a holiday shop. Comfy beds and good towels, what makes this apartment is the large balcony, lovely space and doubles the living area. Another good thing is the lift, I am not sure if this is mentioned in the description. Good views and not overlooked, pool was nice and clean and great once you get in.

We had no problems and hope to visit again, owner communication is excellent.

NIce stay at La Torre golf resort

The appartmet we rented was very good value for the rent payed. It has a nice view over hole 3 , a par 3. You have in the morning the east sun on your terasse while having your breafast. The appartment is well equiped.

Murcia airport is less then 30 min drive. Ther are many golfcourses within 30 - 45 min drive.

You need to have a car , as the going to the coast or direction Torrevieja, you will need it.

Charming place

The view from the terrace is just amazing. The place is homely and if you decide to cook at home there is a Spar Supermarket in the Resort where you can buy some good quality food. The property is clean and well maintained and with good quality furniture. Karen ( The owner ) is always just a phone call away or email away.The shops and restaurants at the resort are mostly closed because of the season, ( December - February) they open again in March. The Hotel in the resort has been bought by a new company and hopefully will be opening this year, the rumor will be this Easter, if not this summer. There is this Wood House place at the Club House where we drink coffee and have some lunch, they serve good food there. If you have a car, which we strongly recommend you should visit Cartagena just 30 minutes drive away or Los Alcazares 15 minutes drive and have some sangria and paella overlooking the sea. I can imagine how this place would be so amazingly beautiful and relaxing during the summer when it is warm and you can just sip wine in the balcony overlooking the golf course and the swimming pool, you can also see the sun rise in the morning from the balcony. The swimming pool is just a stone throw away if you decide to go for a swim in hot summer days. I will definitely recommend this place to family and friends.

Perfect location lovely apartment.

We had an amazing 9 days staying at this apartment. Everything you could need was there. Whether your a golfer or not the resort is great. The restaurants and bars (a few were closed) are only a short walk away as is the Spar shop. The swimming pool below was never really busy.

Have been told that a company have bought the hotel and all the restaurants on site and aim to have them all open by next year. Definitely book again. Thank you Karen x

Super apartment

The apartment have a fantastic location if you want to relax, play golf and enjoy the sun. You need to have a car. We had good trips to Cartagena, Murcia, Alicante and lots of times at La Manga.

The apartment is perfect and the communication whit the owner is outstanding.
