Cottage in Mappleton, Nr. Ashbourne, Derbyshire, England - Village Location With Walks From The Doorstep, And Five Minutes Drive To The Amenities Of Ashbourne

Well equipped, character country cottage with beams, with polished floors and log burner, set in a quiet village with local pub. Free wiifi. Lovely garden with hill views, lawns and patio with garden furniture. This is a great area for walking and cycling from the doorstep and ideal location for exploring the peak district with Ilam and Dovedale within walking distance. The Tissington trail is close by and the bike hire centre is at the edge of the village. It's a short drive or 20 minute walk into Ashbourne Georgian market town. There is off road parking in the drive for up to 3 cars. Pet accepted by arrangement.

Lovely Cottage in a great location

Homely, comfortable cottage in a great location for walking and cycling. Walks and cycle rides right from the doorstep, the wonderful Tissington trail just down the road. Lovely secluded back garden with great views. Pub next door for reasonably priced food, but not too close to the Cottage to be a nuisance!

Free Wi Fi which is a bonus and a place to safely lock up your cycles.

Perfect country cottage

Hawthorn cottage is a perfect country getaway within beautiful Derbyshire. Well equipped, clean and well maintained, the cottage itself is very cosy with a relaxing atmosphere. It's a wonderful destination for all seasons and keen walkers will find many walks from the door. Close to attractions like Dovedale and the pretty market town of Ashbourne, it has something for everyone, especially those who enjoy the amazing countryside on offer. We love it!

A real home from home

From the moment we entered the cottage, we felt right at home. The house was just as described, only better!! The whole house was clean, tidy and everything working. The owner had little notes around the house to help you during your stay. There was also a welcome tray, which was great. The location is divine, so quiet and peaceful, yet still close to the local town. Lots to see and do around this area, lovely walks, shopping etc. The garden too is delightful, a real haven if you want to sit and enjoy the peace and quiet. Our children also enjoyed the cottage, we are definitely planning to return next year, and have also recommended it to our friends. A++++++
