The holiday apartment has its own private entrance and offers very comfortable accommodation adjoining the owner’s house. A 30 minute drive to the east takes you to the New Forest National Park famous for its roaming cattle and horses and to the west to an area known as the Purbecks with Corfe Castle (NT) and the seaside at Swanage along with its steam train and promenade. Shop, pubs and restaurants within 250 yards.

Ideal peaceful location, well appointed.

This was our 1st return visit and won,t be our last. Perfect location for us in Broadstone with all the village amenities (shops, cafes. restaurants, pubs, banks, doctors etc etc) just up the road a couple of hundred yards.

Some mention of road noise in other reviews if you open the front windows. Just close the front ones and open the back ones if it bothers you, it really won't be an issue.

Buses into Poole and surrounding areas also just up the road.

Nice walks in the area with a lovely woodland trail nearby where you can walk or cycle around 3 1/2 miles into Poole or Upton Countryside Park, which by the way is a brilliant place to visit. You can take the bus to Poole bus station then take another bus straight to the park entrance, simplicity.

Anyhow another brilliant stay and we have to mention the owners who are incredibly welcoming and a joy to meet, and they provide everything you'll need. Love it. No hesitation to recommend and we'll be back soon.

Excellent in the winter months

Stayed March 2017.

Very comfortable, well presented, welcoming, conveniently located. The property itself provided everything we could wish for, and the owners were very helpful. Thanks for a very relaxed stay.

Road noise could be an issue for some - the house is only a few yards from a very busy main road, with heavy traffic even in the small hours. I can imagine the noise being irritating in the summer with the windows open.

I would definitely book again in the winter, not so sure about the summer months.

Home from Home

This property was everything it advertised. It really did feel like a home from home. The location was brilliant; a high street full of everything you need including tescos, a bakery, cafes and newsagents all within minutes. There is also a family pub close by. We went out everyday and had so many places to explore without driving too far. We managed to fit in Poole harbour, Brownsea Island, Corfe Castle and Swanage and still felt there was more to be done on another visit. The apartment itself was comfy, well organised and quiet. We had all the essentials needed for our mini break, including a pint of milk in the fridge which allowed us to have a cup of tea as soon as we arrived. There was plenty of kitchen equipment for anything we would need. The bathroom was clean and the shower was wonderful.

When booking there was always great communication back and forth and both the arrival and departure had been carefully thought of and made our break stress free. There were also plenty of maps and guides to help us plan our break and some really useful information about the apartment to ensure we made the most of our stay.

We loved the lazy chairs for our evening in.

Thank you for such a comfortable stay in your apartment. We hope to visit again in the future.
